45. Pack Run

I came awake slowly, turning behind only to find Gwaine getting dressed in the dark. I sat upright, wondering if he was just about to ghost on me again, even after I had complained.

“Are you about to leave me again?” I questioned, tucking my hair behind my ears and out of my face. He walked closer, leaned in and planted a kiss on my forehead.

“This time, it’s really not my fault. There’s a pack run today.” He said. I frowned at him, my puzzled expression signaling that I had no idea what that is.

“What does that mean?” I asked. I knew very little about pack rules and werewolf life as I was never taught. Most of their activities were new to me.
