54. A Date On The Cliff

I heard a light tap on my door and I stirred in my sleep, opened my eyes to see Nicole walk into the room.

“I thought you’d be up and getting ready by now?” She asked, pulling the blanket away from me. She wrapped it in what looked like a ball and tossed it right at my face.

“Ouch!” I yelled, my voice sounded muffled as the weight of the blanket had drowned the sound.

Nicole giggled as she pushed it away from my face.

“What time is it?” I asked, rubbing on my eyes with the back of my palm.

“It’s err… 6:47pm.” Nicole answered, looking over at the clock on the nightstand. By now, she was already perched at the edge of my bed.

I had placed my head on my pillow for a quick nap not too long ago. I looked out the window and noticed it was already starting to get dark, time really went by at lights speed.
