Chapter Thirty Four

I went back to my room that night without finishing my dinner, the rest of the evening had me staying back in my room and reflecting on what I had just seen transpire between the Alpha and the two women.

Did the Alpha really care about me that much to scold them because of me?

I did everything within my power to not leave my room throughout the rest of the evening because I didn't want to cross part with the Alpha or even with Alana or Mitchelle.

My plot to avoid the Alpha that night was successful, up until the next day. I stayed back in my room even after daybreak, for fear that I might run into the Alpha if I stepped out.

I stayed by the window instead and looked through it. Thankfully, there was a small garden behind my window. It was not much of a fancy one, but it had lots of beautiful flowers planted in them. They had all opened and shone bright in the morning sun, their scents filled the air and I closed my eyes to savor them while sniffing.
