Kieran's POV

We joined in the fight without asking questions. Alpha Daniel's side was overwhelmed by too many people, and we were fighting from the other. They fought with all they had, but it was clear they wouldn’t last much longer without help.

“They're losing, Alpha.” Jephta muttered, like their salvation hadn't just walked in.

“Not on my watch.” I growled.

I let out a deep growl, and my body was already shifting as rage filled my veins. “Kill every last one of them!” I roared.

My warriors didn’t hesitate.

Jephta and Nicholas were the first to charge in, cutting through the enemy like blades through flesh. Blue was right behind them, using her claws tearing through their throats with ruthless efficiency.

I wasted no time.

A rogue came at me, with its teeth bared, and claws aimed for my neck. I dodged at the last second, grabbed his head, and twisted it violently. A sickening crack echoed through the air before his lifeless body hit the ground.

I'd eventually have to go through the front door, and hot wire a car to get me as far away from here as possible. I looked at my wrist and it was a little bloodied. I hissed, and focused my energy on the door. I crept closely to it, and just as I opened it, a wolf was passing by. He had the cuffs on my hands, and the blood on them.“She wants to escape!” He screamed out loud that even the dead would have heard him. I was too slow as I snapped his neck only after he had shouted.My heart pounded as the lifeless body of the wolf dropped to the floor. His scream had already done its damage. The entire pack would be on me in seconds. I had to move fast. I stepped over the corpse and bolted down the dark hallway. My bare feet barely made a sound against the cold floor.
