LOGINNyx's POV
Starweaver Pack I eased myself into the bathtub. I had never used the bathtub in all my time in the starweaver pack. I only prepared it for the Luna or any of the female wolves. Any omega caught using it was always dealt with intensely. But in it I sat, on the orders of the Luna. I had soap foam cover me from head to toe. It had been a while since I had a good bath. The Luna could not stand anyone smelling horrible, so bathing wasn't off limits like having a proper three square meal was. Zoe walked in and smiled at me. She ran to hug me. I hugged her as far as my wet body could allow me, without staining her with soap. "Luna sent me here to prepare you for leaving." Zoe said, taking the sponge from my hand, scrubbing my body for me. She released soft whimpers that turned to tears as she washed my body. "Why are you crying?" I asked, thinking she was missing me already. "I wish you wouldn't be sold to the evil alpha." Zoe whispered. My heart skipped a few beats. "What do you mean, Zoe?" I asked, turning to look at her. "Alpha Caleb has been nothing but gold to me." "Are you that naive?" Zoe asked. "Have you never heard of the ruthless Caleb Syder?" "You're scaring me, Zoe." I muttered, breathing raggedly. My chest was beginning to heave. "The alpha that does the ritual killings? The alpha that's at the council of alphas without care? The alpha that does what he wants with whomever he wants? Can't you remember?" I shook my head vehemently. Nothing was coming to me. I could not remember anything about any of these. "Remember Amira?" Zoe asked. "Yeah, Amira." I responded. "She had her limbs disjointed from her body and her eyes gouged from its socket for ritual purposes." "Correct. Now, do you remember who performed the ritual?" Zoe asked. I closed my eyes to remember the incident. We only heard the news of what had happened to Amira. "Alpha Caleb Syder!" I exclaimed, seeing how done for I was. "He made an inscription of his initials on her head. Her head was returned with the C.S boldly written on it." "I'm sorry, Nyx." Zoe apologized again, before bursting into tears. She wiped my body as she cried. I was too dazed to cry. Too scared to cry. Too shocked to cry. I had just had my hopes thrown into the grounds like they didn't matter. I remained silent for the rest of the bath. I was unresponsive to all of Zoe's talks. I tried to console myself with the thought that it could only be as bad as it's been in the starweaver pack. The worst it would be is my death. Zoe dressed me in one of the female warrior's pretty dresses. It was her least finest, but it was the best thing I've worn in all of my life. I looked at myself in the mirror. My face was still a bit dirty. Not ten hours of bathing would release the stains on my face, caused from severe beatings and relentless work. I forced a smile before bursting into tears. Zoe walked in on me crying and consoled me. I was in her arms until Luna Cara walked in on us. We quickly separated from each other. I locked my hands together after cleaning my face and pinned my gaze to the floor. "Isn't this cute?" Luna Cara asked, laughing and clapping. "The shock on your face when you found out that he was taking you was priceless." So was the look when he shushed her up, but I couldn't speak. How would I explain that I wasn't shocked in a bad way until now. I allowed myself to think that I could have a better life when in actuality, only death awaited me. "Very soon, you will wish that I remained your Luna." Luna Cara said, walking close to me. She played with my hair and twirled it around. "The imagination of the things alpha Caleb would do to you has me pitying you." If Luna Cara pities me already, I might as well just die. "You will think of me and smile." She said, smirking. "But I'll be here, happy that you're gone." I kept my gaze on the floor as the tears that stung my eyes fell to the floor. "I wish you the most gruesome death there is." Luna Cara giggled, before dragging me out. Zoe followed behind. I zoned out and just walked behind her. I tried hard not to think about whatever comes next. It never went well. Alpha Harrison waved a contract before everyone and me. He then handed it over to alpha Caleb. I looked at alpha Caleb and I saw the monster he actually is. The scars on his body were now understandable. I could now remember all the times I had heard his name. None were for any good thing. Alpha Harrison handed me over to alpha Caleb and they shook hands. "I really hope the fortune you've spent on this measly girl is worth it." Luna Cara spat. "That should be my business, Luna." Alpha Caleb responded. He turned to look at Alpha Harrison. "Don't forget the things we spoke about. Keep them to heart!" "Yes, Alpha." Alpha Harrison responded. We were about to leave when several cars came at the gate. There were about seven to ten, but I wasn't really counting. I was trying to zone myself out of my misery when they came in. The gates were opened and they drove in. "I see you have other business. We'll talk later." Alpha Caleb said, approaching his limousine. I felt the need to drag things back. I just wanted to. I did not want to get into the limousine or anywhere close to Alpha Caleb. I stopped walking. Alpha Caleb's beta turned back to look at me. He gazed at me with disgust and hatred. "Keep walking or I'll make you walk." He said, but I did not respond. I stayed rooted to the spot, despite knowing that it'd only cause me more trouble. He walked closer to me and repeated his commands. I stayed rooted to the spot. He was infuriated. He was about slapping me when a voice stopped him. "You should not hit a lady." A masculine voice said. We both turned to look at him. Every pair of eyes were set on him. "I am beta Nicholas of the Windwalker pack! Alpha Kieran would like to have a word." Alpha Caleb was back already by this time. I wasted just enough time to get him angry and in need of an explanation. Alpha Kieran got down from his car and walked towards us. I've never had the privilege to see three alphas in one day. I only looked up to see this alpha's face when my heart skipped several beats. I could feel my being drawing to his essence. I could feel my inner thighs twitch just by gazing at him. My breathing escalated all of a sudden. He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen. His brown skin and his disheveled black hair were so complimentary. I was drooling already. I looked at his eyeballs and they were red, not the alpha wolf type of red, a more beautiful shade of red. An absolutely tall beauty. He stopped walking when his eyes met mine. As much as I wanted to take my eyes off him, I couldn't. "Mate!" He let out, his eyes not leaving mine.Nyx's POV Kieran and I exchanged glances before stepping forward. The grass beneath our feet was soft, almost unreal, glowing faintly under the light of the full moon. The garden stretched endlessly, filled with flowers of colors I had never seen before. A gentle breeze carried the scent of fresh rain and something sweet, something calming. At the center of it all, the Moon Goddess sat on a stone bench, her silver hair flowing like liquid light, her eyes glowing with the same pale radiance as the moon above. She looked peaceful, almost too calm, as if she had been expecting us. “Have a seat,” she said again, her voice soft yet powerful, echoing in the still air. Kieran and I hesitated for a moment before moving closer. The moment we sat, the ground beneath us shifted slightly, as if the very earth recognized us. “I have waited a long time for this moment,” the Moon Goddess said, looking at us with something like pride in her eyes. “You have done what even I could not.” She
Nyx's POV Kieran’s fire burned bright, and I felt power rushing through my body. The surrounding sea roared like it knew a storm was coming. Calypso and Lyraxys stood tall, their eyes full of anger, ready to tear us apart. Everything went still for a moment. Then, the fight started.Calypso rushed at Kieran, moving like lightning, her hands were covered in swirling water. The water stretched out like long snakes, aiming for his throat, his heart, his legs, anywhere to take him down, but Kieran was faster. With one burst of fire, he burned the water away. He dodged her attack, twisted his body, and punched her hard in the jaw. Flames burst from his fist as it connected, sending her flying backward. She slammed into a wall of water with a loud crash. Lyraxys ran at me, as her face got twisted with rage. She moved quickly, but I was quicker. She swung a spear of ice at my head, but I ducked just in time. I felt the air shift as it passed inches above me. Before she could attack
Nyx's POV All through the flight, Kieran held my hand, and I rested my head gently on his shoulder. It was the only way I could feel whole, the only way I could feel even a little normal. I gripped his hand tightly, and he held mine with the same intensity, as if he, too, needed this to stay steady. Every once in a while, he pressed a soft kiss against my forehead, a silent reassurance that he was there, that I wasn’t alone. The journey felt longer than it actually was. My thoughts raced, my heartfelt heavy with everything that had happened. The weight of loss, the burden of what lay ahead all pressed down on me. But Kieran’s presence kept me grounded. His warmth, his steady breathing, the quiet strength in his grip were the only things keeping me from completely falling apart. When we finally landed, the pilots maneuvered the helicopters carefully, setting them down in a clearing near the coastline. The roaring sound of the blades slowly faded, replaced by the rhythmic crash of
Nyx's POV My heart broke as I watched my twin collapse to the ground. My world crumbled as I watched Lyraxys hold Akira's heart. Trent had first stabbed her before Lyraxys took her life away. The world stopped.No. No. No. This wasn’t happening. This couldn’t be real. I walked over to her side slowly. Calypso and Lyraxys were not there any longer. No one was bothering me.My knees hit the ground before I even realized I had fallen. My hands trembled as I reached out, my fingers barely brushing against Akira’s still body. Her eyes, once fierce and full of life, were empty now. I couldn’t breathe. My chest felt like it was caving in, like something was crushing me from the inside out. The world blurred around me, but I didn’t care. All I could see was Akira. My twin. My other half. Dead. Gone. Unalived.A choked sob ripped from my throat, and suddenly, the world trembled. The sky darkened, thick clouds swirling violently above us. The ground beneath me cracked, deep fissures
Akira's POV I stood, ready to fight, when a severed head flew through the air, rolling until it stopped at Calypso’s feet. She looked down, and for the first time, I saw fear on her face. “Argh!!” she screamed. I let out a small, satisfied smirk, stepping forward with my arms crossed, my stance casual, but my heart pounding with anticipation. “Hey, bitches,” I said smoothly. Lyraxys’ voice shook with pain as she stared at the head. “You… you killed him.” I tilted my head, pretending to think. Then, I chuckled. “Yeah, and it was kinda easy.” “I will make you witness the wrath of a goddess!” Calypso shrieked, her rage exploding as she shot toward me, slamming me into the ground. It was another level of pain, but I refused to show weakness. Kieran shifted back into his human form, and red flames flickered around him like a second skin. Nyx moved beside me, gripping my hand tightly. We stood together, ready to fight like Twain. Calypso’s scream sent a shockwave throug
Akira's POV I had diverted from the battle with the goddesses when I saw Neptune. It was like I was drawn to him. I could not keep myself away from him. I have to end this whole battle once and for all. “Son of a bitch.” I growled, standing close to him.“Hello love.” Neptune chuckled. “Want some dick? We could leave this place, and head somewhere we'd be able to have fun without stress from all around.”“You'd have better luck touching the sun than you would have trying to seduce me.” I hissed at him, feeling very angry. “I like it when you argue,” he giggled. “It's cute. It maybe even turns me on in fact.” “You're sick in the head!” I growled, and I'll make sure that sickness ends today."Akira, I'd really hate to kill you today. I never planned any of that." Neptune shook his head. “Use you as a sex slave? Hell yeah! But waste such a tight and sweet honeycomb you've got down there over a stupid fight? I'm not really interested in doing that.” He shook his head, looking at me li
