Anastasia’s POV.I suddenly felt pain all over my body, causing a groan to escape my mouth. I cracked my eyes open and found out that I had fallen from the horse's back to the hard forest ground. I must have dozed off …Sigh…I managed to stand up to my feet as my gaze scanned my new surroundings. No doubt , I was still in the forest; a deeper part of it. Although, the spot I was standing in was clearer; with just a few shrubs and some dried leaves scattered around, I still felt a bit apprehensive about my surroundings. This is still a forest, cleared or not.The neighing of the horse startled me a little. I had almost forgotten about the poor lad. It looks so tired, we must have been travelling for a while now. Of course, we have, that explains the dark skies and the twinkling stars above; it was nightfall. Anastasia's POV."Get your filthy hands off me!" I bellowed at the guards that struggled to push me into the cell. Its not like I can't walk in on my own."Stay put, you piece of garbage!" One of them snarled back. They didn't even listen to me by letting me go. They dragged me with my chains into the cell and I couldn't help but fall down.I groaned in pain of crashing into the stone filled ground but the guards didn't even bst an eyelid at me."The Alpha – your grandfather – has ordered us to make sure to deal with you mercilessly." The senior guard amongst the two said, a sickening grin spreadinv across his lips.I didn't fail to notice the scorn in his tone, especially when he tried to remind me of my grandfather's hatred towards me."And trust me when I say I'd do that with full joy, especially when it's going to be my last time doing it before I move to my new position." He said again, bursting into a sick round of laughter, exposing his yellow teeth as a result.Captain Shiro .

The Nightshade pack is well known for their unmatched influence in the whole of the Westlands, which is one of the most prolific continents amongst the four.They were also well known for their ruthless battle sense – easily taking their enemies and subduing them – and then they put them through the most horrible kind of situations afterwards.And that wasn't all, rumours have been flying around recently that illegal street fights and duels were popular in Nightshade pack. And of course, these duels often lead to deaths – gruesome and unpleasant ones at that.Hence, Nightshade pack isn't somewhere one would want to wake and meet themselves in. But as fate would have it, that's where I am being sold to.I knew grandfather must have had to write that I was his granddaughter for them to come.
