16. Runaway bride

“Scarlett! are you in there?” I heard the Alpha roar from without.

I flung the shoes off my feet. The wedding gown was the last thing to take off.

“If you don't respond I'll be forced to break in. You can't keep us all waiting.”

Immediately I heard that I rushed towards the window, raising the hem of the gown as I managed to jump out. I began climbing down the pipe—the only escape route.
