Chapter 16: Returning To School
Roselle's Pov:
I lay down on my bed in complete silence, my parents are now getting a divorce 'god how did we end up here I thought turning on my side looking out the window sighing out, I thought our family would be held together more firmly but I guess I understand, I wouldn't want my parents in a loveless marriage just because of their kids I wouldn't want that on anyone.
I turn on my back again, hearing a soft knock behind the door
"Who is it?" I asked
"It's just me..." Jace said from behind the door coming in seeing me staring up at the ceiling
"What's wrong?" He questioned sitting on the other side of the bed
"My parents just told me a couple of hours ago they're getting a divorce..." I replied

Roselle's Pov:I ran into the house as dad saw my tear-streamed face I run up the stairs bawling my eyes out. I slam my door shut and get on my bed grabbing my pillow crying out all the hurt and despair, I saw one of my best friends sleeping with my boyfriend and the look on Jackson's face means It's been going on longer than just that one time. My pillow becomes wet with tears as I stare at the photo of Jake and me kissing, I knock it off the side table as it smashes on the ground glass shattering on the floor.My dad opens the door hurriedly looking around the room as if seeing if someone has broken in but only to see my curled-up form"Roselle.." He says coming close to the bed as he sees the photo and glass on the ground.

Roselle's Pov: I'm shocked as he holds his nose Victoria goes to his aid which makes me feel even sicker, I don't show an ounce of emotion on my face, the prick deserved it."Jake are you okay?" Roselle's Pov:My mum is grabbing dresses holding them in front of me "Hmm....no..no..no" she saysI put my hands on my hips annoyed we've been in this shop for over an hour, I look around the shop and then see one on display a blue silk dress that hits the floor a mask accompanied with it, I leave my mum who's scanning through the other dresses I feel the fabric."Would you like to try it on?" Roselle's Pov:I look up at the Manor dread filling in my soul I keep telling myself this isn't happening this is a fucking nightmare but as many times as I pinch myself I can't wake up and the man I feel beside me holds evil tendencies and I'm certainly not blind to that at all."You can't keep me here this is kidnapping!"
