Helen's heart softened under her mother's warm embrace. She hadn't expected that her father would automatically recover and even be able to talk and move his hands and legs on his own—something that he had not been able to do on his own before.

"Helen, do you have anything to say to the media? What university did you study with? Is it the well-known renowned University of Science in this city?" An interviewer asked, and Helen got to realize that it was because her father's company went bankrupt, and it was announced on the news that he was owing hundreds of workers' salaries. Not just that, some other hospitals that he was supposed to supply his medicine to, he failed to meet up with the supply. But now that he had been miraculously cured, they hoped that Helen would take over Roberts Pharmaceutical and distribute the medicine to other hospitals with other stroke victims too.

"Miss Helen! Can you share more insight on how you got this miraculous medicine? Who created it, and what ingredients were used to create it? Will we get more of it? Or did you purchase it from the Kingston Pharmaceutical? They are the only ones who sell this expensive potent medicine that costs a million dollars? Do you plan to sell it for the same amount when you start reproducing more of this potent drug?"

The hospital interviewers bombarded Helen with more questions, and she stepped back and replied, "I am still a student and not yet producing medicine. And yes, I got this medicine from Kingston Pharmaceutical. You all can reach out to them to get yours if you want to get cured. Thank you."

Helen refused to look at the interviewers, and the security men chased them away to allow the families at the hospital to breathe and not create chaos in the specialist hospital.

"Helen, is it true that you got the medicine from the Kingston Pharmaceutical? Where did you get a million dollars to purchase this medicine, and the Kingstons are the reasons your father got scammed in the first place because he was trying to get this particular medicine?" Mrs. Rosemary asked, her voice calm after all the interviewers left. She prepared to give her husband food and to eat with him.

Helen breathed out heavily as she went to open the medicine bottle. She sniffed it to know all the ingredients that were used to create the medicine. She was a pharmaceutical genius, even though she hadn't started creating her own medicine yet. She could detect all the actual ingredients used for the experimental creation of the medicine.

"Mom, I didn't create this, and yes, the Kingstons did. I don't want to talk about it because Chancellor Katherine warned me not to. She promised to pay for this new drug because it's only two bottles left, and it's not yet in the pharmaceutical market. She said if she asked the owner before given me, he might not agree to help us."

"So, Noah Kingston's son is in your university. You should get close to him to learn more about this medicine. It will help my company in the future, Helen. You have to get close to Samuel. I heard he is very unserious. Who would have thought that his father is using that to deceive the public?" Mr. Henry said, as he had regained himself. He sat in the bed while his wife fed him his dinner as the night fell.

"But Dad, Samuel and I are not close. He has a bad reputation, and it's not just rumors about him. He dates several girls and dumps them. I cannot get close to him," Helen refused with a shake of her head, her arms crossed over her chest.

"This is not about getting close to him for his love, but for what you will gain. How did you expect me to pay the money that I was defrauded? You are a beautiful young woman, Helen, and use your beauty and body to get Samuel," Henry said, and his family gasped.

"What? Dad, how can you advise Helen to trade her body to your enemy's son? Do you think that Mr. Kingston will not be aware that his son is the one who created the medicine that saved you? They will come after Helen if they get to find out. And those families are liars and fraudsters, using their position in this city to defraud anyone they find as an opponent. I do not think it's a good idea for Helen to get close to the Kingston's son. She should keep off from him," Patrick said, his voice firm, and his father scowled.

"Helen, this is up to you to decide. If you learn how these potent drugs are created and sold for 1 million dollars per bottle, we can use it to help our company and sell it for 800,000 dollars. The highest drug sold on our company is 100,000 dollars, and yet it doesn't sell off as it's not as potent as these Kingston drugs. They have different potent drugs for eyes to cure blindness immediately, the ones for brains to cure madness and other brain defects, and they have the one for stroke and other body problems without needing surgery. So, get close to Samuel Kingston and get the formula from him on how he creates these magical medicines. Five years ago, the Kingston Pharmaceutical were struggling and not close to the top-ranking Pharmaceutical companies. The Zealous Pharmaceutical and the Tommy Pharmaceutical—these two were top-ranking because their drugs worked faster than other companies. But five years ago, the Kingston Pharmaceutical introduced a potent drug for madness and sold it for 1 million dollars per bottle. It worked, and it gave them billions in sales. But Mr. Noah Kingston refused to show the formula used for creating this medicine, and the labels didn't have the actual ingredients used. They wrote something else and kept the main secret formula to themselves."

Helen frowned as she listened to what her father was saying.

"Dad, what are you trying to say—that Samuel Kingston is the one who made this potent medicine?" Helen asked, shocked to hear her father's theory.

"Maybe, or why did Noah not create these drugs since, if he knows how to do it for years? It's simple. His son, who people assumed was useless and a bad boy, is the one making the drugs, or why is he studying medicine at your school?"

Helen's jaw dropped as she couldn't believe her ears.

"Dad, now I understand why Chancellor Katherine had kept this secret. For four years, we didn't know that Samuel is a genius. He doesn't act like he knows anything, and yet he always gets straight A's. Well, we are not close," Helen folded her arms around her chest and looked away. She didn't want to tell her father that Samuel was asking her out to be his girlfriend.

If Samuel could keep his real identity away from other students, how could Helen trust him? What if he had an ulterior motive for chasing after her?

A deep frown crossed her face, and her brother, Patrick, chimed in, "Dad, I will not advise Helen to go after Samuel Kingston. If the Kingston family finds out that you're trying to use Helen to get closer to Samuel and learn his secret formula or uncover his secret identity, they might eliminate her, just like you felt sick, and they are trying to kill you here. If not, why did Dr. Peter not mention what he was using to treat you for over a week?"

Patrick looked serious as he now understood the gravity of his father's enemies.

Mr. Henry frowned, and his wife chimed in, "Honey, you should rest and allow Helen to rest too. She just returned from the University, and now you are asking her to go back. We can discuss this at home. Don't forget that the walls have ears and this hospital has surveillance cameras. If we keep on discussing this strategy, someone might hear and report to the Kingston family first."

"You're right," Mr. Henry agreed with his wife, and he peered at Helen and said, "Thank you for coming to save me. Even if I know that I won't live in this world forever, at least you gave me the hope to live longer."

"Mom, where's Dad?" Ruth asked as she walked up to the dining table to meet her mother."He went upstairs. You should go and call him," Stacey said as she set up the dinner around the table."Alright, Mom," Ruth replied happily as she darted back to the stairs and went to the top floor to call her father. Her loud voice resonated in the mansion."Dad, dinner is ready!" Ruth shouted, her voice echoing on the top floor. She was the baby of the house and very playful too.Meanwhile, Samuel took his seat on the chair, and his mother looked at him and smiled."Samuel, is everything alright?" She peered at him curiously."Of course, Mom. I am fine," he replied with a calm voice, and his mother assured him, "Don't worry. I will speak with your father later."Samuel gave a nod and waited for his father to join him for dinner. The sound of his father's footsteps alighting the stairs with his younger sister echoed in the living room.A few minutes later, they arrived and joined Samuel and his m

Meanwhile, Stacey walked out of the kitchen after she was done setting up dinner. She walked up to meet her husband and asked him, "Honey, aren't you being too harsh and judgmental on Samuel? I asked him why he helped the Roberts' family heiress, and he said that he just helped her because she is more intelligent than him and the one who scored the highest in his department.""And you believe him? This explains to you why you should warn him to stay away from that family. Mr. Henry Roberts has fine medicines, even if they don't work as actively as ours; they are still potent and sold at a cheaper rate. I have warned Samuel. If I get to find out that he is dating that Roberts' daughter, I will deal with her on my own.""Honey, you will not commit any crime. What will you do to her?" Stacey looked at her husband worriedly."That's left for me to do. Just warn Samuel not to disclose our business to other families. I am not stopping him from continuing his studies because he needs the cer

Stacey breathed out heavily and replied, "That's fine. You should stay away from Helen and don't have anything to do with her. I do not like her, and I will not approve of your affair with her. She is too chubby and will get old easily."Samuel's eyes widened in surprise as he picked up an apron to tie around his neck, but his mother stopped him."What are you trying to do? You just got back from the university, and you're tying the apron. Don't worry; I will make dinner alone," Stacey said, her hand reaching to stop Samuel from tying the apron."You should go and have your bath upstairs. I will make dinner alone," Stacey said, her voice soft, but Samuel shook his head and replied, "No, Mom. I want to help you. I want to learn how to cook so that I can cook for my wife in the future."Stacey's eyes widened in shock at Samuel's statement. She smiled and replied, "Alright. But definitely not that chubby girl from the Roberts family."Samuel smiled as his hands reached for the apron agai

"Wow! That was close! I hadn't expected the crowd. Oh no! I didn't get this from the Kingstons," Helen said, after Senator Jerry had left with his security escort. Her heart was still pounding so loud in her chest.Mrs. Rosemary smiled at her daughter and replied, "It's fine, Helen. What matters is that you saved your father's life.""Alright, Mom," Helen breathed out heavily. Just then, she got a message alert that her food had arrived, but she was nervous to leave the hospital room."I will help you get it, sister," Patrick offered, as he was relieved to see his father was fine and better. The physiotherapist doctor had come to check on him and said he would resume his physiotherapy the following day before he got discharged from the hospital.Helen was grateful as she gave her older brother her phone to receive the two meals that she had ordered. She ordered one for him and for herself, since her parents had already eaten. She saw that her father's illness had taken a toll on Patri

"Dad, all that aside, where do we get the money to pay up the 50 million dollars that you lost, and who is the man that scammed you? You need to help the police with their investigation," Patrick said, as he had already hired two security men to stand by his father's hospital room door."You're right. I will give you all his information after I am done eating," Mr. Henry replied, while Patrick sighed with relief.Helen was famished, so she went to sit down on the chair that her mother had stood up from."Mom, why were brothers Paul, Zion, and Caleb mad at me when I arrived earlier?" She asked, her eyes fixated on her parents' faces.Patrick and their mother, Rosemary, frowned after they heard Helen's inquiry."Helen, it's because your father willed his company to you," Rosemary replied calmly."What?"
