“Come on! Let's go get drinks!” Lily grabbed Scarlett's hand, dragging her over to the bar, where they took their seats.

“I can't drink too much; remember, tomorrow is my foundation's fundraising day." Scarlett rejected the offer, but Lily rolled her eyes and pushed the cocktail toward her.

“A glass won't kill you.” She urged, and Scarlett picked up the drink. As she sipped from it, she looked around, trying to find Adrian, but it was as if he had vanished.
