Joaquin immediately stood up and sat on the floor. He was laughing out loud while staring at the worried Ella. He leans closer to her and whispers in her ear...
"I told you. Edward genuinely cares about you." He gazed into his eyes and smiled.
Ella punched him in the arms with a contorted face. Her lips curled, her teeth bared, and her jaw clenched. Ella was giving Joaquin a hostile look because she was annoyed by his mischievous prank.
"You're an asshole! I can't believe you went through all of that just to make a point!" Ella screamed angrily. "You made me worry about nothing!" she exclaimed.
Lydia, on the other hand, was directing Edward away from Joaquin. She can see him quivering with anger and being blinded by rage. She was trying to calm him down because she didn't want to draw the attention of the crowd.
