FAZER LOGINIsabella POV
Alex got me a great deal on a motel. Since I can remain at his house, I suppose he felt awful. "That's the least he can do for you, Izzy."
Why did her voice sound colder to me?
"Well, what are you doing at this moment? You are free on Saturday, right? Her tone returns to its usual one. Perhaps that's simply something I imagined.
"I dunno, um. I guess just strolling around. Visit the Remington headquarters to find out how long it takes me to get to work on time and to see the area where I operate."
"You work so well, that's for sure. Your supervisor will adore you."
After a brief conversation, I said to Nancy farewell. Tell her not to be concerned about me.
I head directly to the valet station when I get to the lobby. My buddy Andreas Roderick informed me that his driver had brought a car for me and left it with the valet service.
One of my closest pals is Andreas, or Drew as we nicknamed him. We shared a home five years ago with Ruby. Jase, myself, Drew, and Tony. However, we'll discuss that in a different tale. I'm too eager to see LA for the time being. I haven't been to this beautiful city in a long time!
A Maserati in silver pulled up in front of the lobby. All heads turn to look at the automobile. A few of them even slobber.
The valet addresses me "Ma'am." That is Drew's automobile, I realised. He's a billionaire, did I mention that? And occasionally, it doesn't bother him that I prefer not to use anything ostentatious. as of right now!
I climb inside the vehicle. It's a good vehicle. A Maserati is a safe choice, isn't it? Sitting in this automobile is nothing new for me. I occasionally travelled to Los Angeles to see Alex and spent time with Tony, Drew, and Ruby. And because I don't have a car and they don't like Alex, they alternate picking me up. I thus did not invite Alex to come along. When it is time for me to spend time with my best buddy, Alex cheerfully bids me "goodbye". He's simply not the clinging kind of lover, and I understand that he feels awkward with my wealthy friends.
I called Andrew after pairing my phone with Bluetooth.
"How's the car?" When Andrew answers the phone, he remarks in jest.
"Ha ha very well, mister," I remarked playfully. "Why did your driver give me your Maserati?"
"Oh, you prefer Aston Martin?" He laughs.
"Nah! Like, Honda or something cheaper, I'm not sure."
Indifferently, "Because I don't have," he replies.
"Yeah right, stupid me." I roll my eyes, hoping he won't notice.
He chuckles. "Hi! Yes, we felt horrible! Why are you coming to Los Angeles when Ruby is on tour and Tony and I have to be at the conference outside of the United States? The least I could have done to greet you is this."
Indeed, it is my fault. I'm sorry. I reply, trying not to sound irritated, but my lips quiver.
He chuckles once more. "Tell you what, please. Tony and I are returning to Los Angeles in a week. Alright, we'll assist you with moving to your new location."
"Wow! Are two billionaires going to come to my aid? I apologise, but I don't have enough money to hire you two," I remark sarcastically.
We do, however, offer a unique deal. As long as you prepare supper, you may employ us for nothing. Tony and I long for your honey-glazed pork ribs! We were dissatisfied the last time we had supper at a restaurant that offered such pork ribs since yours are the greatest."
I chuckle. "I'm flattered, Mr. Roderick."
He laughs. You may also prepare pasta. Fucking Madmen! I miss your entire meal! Recall the moment you attempted your new dish. Andrew is always talking about food. I'm the cook for the four of us. I can declare with pride that my cooking is good. Better than expected. However, I just enjoy cooking for my loved ones. I have no desire to work as a chef. Okay, sir! Tony and Ruby, I'll cook for you all for free. I can manage it on my own because I don't pack too much stuff. Come see my new place, please! Alright?"
"Excellent! By the way, what are you doing right now?"
"I'm presently on my way to the Remington headquarters. Would like to verify the routes and all of that."
Fantastic! Be careful, dear." Yes, he and Tony think of me as a sister. Ruby concurs as well.
"With gratitude, Andrew, I say thank you."
"Thank you, Izzy! Give me a call if you require anything. My driver and helper are in Los Angeles, but I'm in Europe. You're only a phone call away. Alright?"
I smile. "What do
you know? "You're the greatest!"
Isabella POV"That's Christian Remington," declares Alfred. I glance at Alfred. Is he referring to Christian Remington, the musician and vocalist who shares a family with Gabriel Remington? He's a fantastic actress as well. Parts of his film I viewed. ranked among the world's sexiest men by voters. Has a sound that, just by hearing it, may give a lady an orgasmic feeling. The one who the media claims is the embodiment of the phrase "God is not fair" since in addition to his amazing looks, he is intelligent, a musical genius, and everything nice.I inquired, "The Christian Remington?""Yes," with delight Alfred responds. He's too old to be crushing on a movie star that bad. "What are your thoughts? Is it possible to pair Ruby Underhill with Christian Remington?" He repeats himself.Oh, yes, he has different plans. What is Ruby's opinion on this, I wonder? We head to Ruby's place after I laugh. It feels amazing to be able to laugh after all that happened to me. following Alfred's depar
Isabella POV Is a nightmare capable of lasting more than one episode? This morning as I woke up, I sensed a change in myself. I felt so safe and protected in my body. I had no idea how to put it into words. And yet, in a strange spot, I feel an ache. When I finally woke up, I saw a hand covering my body. I gently opened my eyes and turned to face the hand's owner. And he was the one! Mr. Perfect and I were sharing a bed, spooning one another while completely nude!I see. Oh my god!I gently glanced down and barely removed the cover. Furthermore, everything I had previously believed to be a dream had become real. His hands, lips, whiskers, abs, and lovely ass all look great. Give up! Avoid visiting there. Izzy, flee! Hurry up!I was just cheated on by an unknown person. Willingly... I got up from the bed slowly. My lower body aches. I made an effort to move as slowly as I could. This man was not mine to have. I had to go. After quickly putting on my shirt and shorts from the baggage
Gabriel POVThere is like a little hammer in my head and an oven in my body. Something is wrong. Ben comes back with a card. How come he got the room that fast? But my brain doesn't work right now. My mind keeps going to the strawberry-blonde woman's body. Shit! I need to take a rest. "Let me take you to your room," Ben says, and he helps me to the elevator. "You should tell me if you are not feeling well Gabriel."I'm leaning on the elevator's wall. The coolness helps me to calm my nerves. But I realise my breath is getting erratic. I don't even bother to answer Ben.We arrive on the floor. And Ben leads the way to the room. "This is the room. Go take a rest!" He helps me open the door. I let myself in and the door closed behind me. I barely hear Ben's voice saying his goodbye.I need a cold shower. By the way, why is the room light on? I haven't put the card into the slot yet. As I take off my suit, trousers, and shoes, I notice someone is sleeping in the bed. What the hell?I t
Isabella POV"Are you okay?" I'm asked by Mr. Perfect. Do I seem alright to you now? However, I omit the term. All I'm doing is drying my already-dry clothing."Are you okay, miss?" He asks once more. Slower than the last time. Finally, I turn to face him and meet his gaze. "Yes, but no! I'm not sure. My voice is becoming quieter and softer with every syllable that leaves it. I doubt he heard what I had to say. I quickly remark, "Sorry, I have to go," and I turn to get back to my table. That's where my purse is still. I must return to my room. "I suppose it's time for me to depart, Alex. You must be done talking to me, don't you? Right now, I don't think I can see him. Though I'm not overly sad over our breakup, I did realise that I was foolish to have even considered moving to Los Angeles only for him. I understand if the lack of chemistry was the only reason. But the voice of the woman..."Yeah... ok... wait Izzy !" He hands me a glass of water as he gets up. "Drink some water.. y
Isabella POV What a horror this is! I must be having a dream. I take a deep breath and attempt to figure out what the heck occurred.I was at the restaurant waiting for Alex. I was early, as always, and he was always late. I was drinking my Merlot while perched on the bar stool. I've never drunk yet I can drink alcohol like I sip water. My friend's plan for my 21st birthday was to get me wasted. Even though I was a little tipsy in the end, I was still able to complete my maths, speak ABC backward, and walk straight. Admittedly, I drank a lot. And all of my buddies were intoxicated. I was the one who looked after them in the end. My blood just runs this way: we can sip booze like water. similar to my mother. When Mom and Dad first met, they had a wager on who would go down first, and Mom won, of course. The remainder is recorded history. This always makes me grin when I think about it. In the latter months of her life, I insisted on hearing Mom tell me this tale over and over again
Isabella POVI turned my back on him and scolded myself for waiting for my guy—who was probably the boyfriend of another woman—while salivating over a male. Thank goodness he was unaware of it.I ordered my second glass as soon as the server informed me that my table was ready. Alex came over in a minute and hugged me. "How are you, Izzy ?" After we were seated, Alex inquired. That was the first time he had inquired about me, and I had only been in LA for approximately a day. I ought to have anticipated this.Alright, I'm giving in. How about you? This afternoon, I was at the Remington headquarters. Although I called, you did not answer the phone.""What? You were present?" He sounded frightened.Yes. I gave you a call. However, your voicemail received it." I gave a stupid response."Well, I've been busy, um. Were you able to spot me there? He questioned cautiously. "Not at all. You were present?""Not at all. Yes, what I mean is. I was present. Getting together with a few managers.
