At that time, You and your family were in the same city and you could go to your house on every weekend or whenever you want. This is your first weekend in this foreign city so you would miss your parents. Slowly, when you get busy with work and becomes more familiar with this city and with every one around you, you would not experience this lonely feeling. You have all of us here. You will again go back to city  M in few months time for annual vacation. You would not realise when you complete 3 years here.
