Chapter 10: The scoundrel

At the end of a long working day, Dilays Park called again like a mother managing her daughter: “Mia, you're off work, right? Now you go to the basement parking lot, I sent someone to pick you up."

Mia no longer has the strength to say to this person: “Okay.”

Going down to the basement, she didn't see anyone but only saw Peter standing in front of the car, whistling, Mia's face a bit colder, so she took out her phone to call Dilays.

Peter immediately walked in front of her, after a long day at work but his clothes and body were still very clean. He gently took her hand holding the phone: "Don't call, I'm the one to pick you up."

Mia gently pushed his hand away: "No need, it's bothering you."

Peter didn't understand why, after leaving his house that night, she became more and more distant from him, he hurriedly wanted to hold her but thought he was afraid of holding her hand, so he went, hugged her from behind.

The atmosphere was quiet for about a minute.
