Alonzo

Irina was ogling cutely at the tennis necklace when I pranced to her room. The misunderstanding cleared up itself, but she deserved a proper apology from me.

“I'm pleased that you're in love with it.” Irina clutched it in her fingers. She ran her hand through her neck and sighed, comely.

Why did I find every single thing that this woman did pleasing? Did she cast a spell on me?

“Alonzo, you startled me!” She carefully put her necklace to rest on its box while I headed to her and picked it up. I gently nudged her hand for her to follow me. Upfront a ceiling to floor size mirror in her walk-in closet we stopped. I placed the diamond necklace against her neck.

“I want to see you wearing this again,” I whispered.

“You already saw me wearing it in the store.” She angled her head to get a better view of me. My eyes remained on her reflection.

Unhooking the locket, Irina swallowed as the white gold material of it damps on her skin.

“What should I do to you, ha? You're standing here.
