Lucy's POV
It started so innocently—just me in the kitchen, chopping vegetables, the soft hum of music in the background. I didn’t hear them at first, the three of them entering the room as silent as shadows. Shaun’s voice was the first thing I noticed, low and teasing behind me.
"Need any help?"
I turned, startled to find all three of them—Shaun, Scott, and Seth—standing there. Their smirks made me skeptical for a moment.
"No, I'm fine," I said quickly, trying to keep my voice steady. The knife had since left my hand and now I was standing there, not sure of what to do or where to keep my eyes.
But they didn’t leave. Instead, they surrounded me, their presence making it difficult for me to think of anything else—But them.
Shaun brushed a stray lock of hair from my face. Scott leaned against the counter, too close, his arm grazing mine. Seth stood behind me, his warmth a constant reminder of how trapped I was.
"You're always working so hard," Seth murmured, his lips near my ear.
I swallowed, my hand resting more firmly on the counter.
"I like cooking," I replied, trying to ignore the growing heat in the room.
"Why not take a break?" Scott asked, his hand sliding over mine, forcing me to take a deep breath.
Now what?
Before I could protest, Shaun tilted my chin up, his eyes locking onto mine.
"You need to relax," he said softly. And then his lips were on mine, warm and insistent.
I gasped, and in that moment, Seth's hands found my waist, turning me toward him. His mouth captured mine in a kiss that left me breathless. Scott's fingers trailed up my arm, his touch light, teasing.
Somehow, I ended up in their arms, my back pressed against Scott’s chest as Shaun and Seth explored every inch of me with their hands and mouths. I wanted to resist, but my body betrayed me, melting under their touch.
In a heartbeat, they carried me into the bedroom, my mind went blank for a while and I could only think of the faint throbbing of my lower body. They laid me down on the soft sheets. My heart pounded as they surrounded me again, their hands roaming over my skin. Shaun leaned down, his lips brushing against mine.
"Do you want us to stop?" he asked, his voice low, almost challenging.
I hesitated, torn between what I knew was right and the undeniable control they had over my body. "This... this isn’t..."
Seth cut me off, his fingers trailing down my arm, sending small waves of delight through me.
"Don’t think," he whispered, his lips tracing a path along my collarbone.
Scott was at my side, his hand slipping under my shirt, his fingers skimming over my ribs.
"Just feel," he murmured, his mouth claiming mine in a kiss that left me breathless.
Despite my protests, my body craved more. They knew it too. Shaun’s fingers danced over my skin, finding the sensitive spots that made me arch against him. Seth’s lips trailed lower, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. Scott, ever the one with the teasing hands, hovered just out of reach, his eyes dark with intent.
"You won’t reject us, will you?" Shaun asked, his voice thick with desire.
"I can’t," I breathed, my hands clutching at the sheets as my body jutted upward, receiving what they were giving without second thoughts.
I could feel literal flames in my body.
When did I ever feel this way? Never.
"You can," Scott insisted, his fingers brushing against my lips.
"I won’t," I whispered, but it wasn’t the answer they wanted.
"Say it," Seth demanded, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin of my neck.
"I can’t!" I said again, shaking my head, even as my body betrayed me, leaning into their touch.
Their response was relentless. Shaun's fingers explored my most sensitive spots. In a heartbeat, my skirt had been discarded and my legs were parted, wide enough to accommodate Shaun. His finger slipped into me, drawing gasps and moans from me despite myself. Seth's mouth found my breasts, his lips and tongue working together to drive me to the brink of madness. Scott's kisses were a constant assault, stealing my breath and leaving me dizzy.
I tried to resist, but they knew exactly how to break me down, piece by piece. My resolve crumbled with every touch, every kiss, every whispered word. There wasn't much I could do. There wasn't much I could think of, not with a mouth closed over my nipple and another rubbing on my other nipple. And definitely not with a finger inside me, slowly pumping in and out, driving me crazy.
Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore.
"I... I won’t reject you," I gasped, my voice trembling.
They stopped, their eyes locking onto mine, their expressions a mix of triumph and something deeper—something that scared me as much as it thrilled me.
Shaun leaned down, his lips brushing against mine in a soft, almost tender kiss.
"Good," he murmured.
In another minute, his lips were on mine again. My hands reached out to hold him, my hands running along the length of his back. He'd taken off his shirt now and so had the other two. When he got off me, Seth took over, claiming my lips and leaving me breathless.
Fuck. This is it. This is lovemaking.
But then, as Scott slipped his finger out of me, the reality of the situation hit me like a tidal wave. I pushed them away, my breath coming in short, ragged gasps.
"Wait," I said, my voice shaking.
"I can’t... I shouldn’t... I’m your dad’s wife. Is this right?"
The room fell silent, their eyes narrowing slightly, but none of them moved away. The tension was suffocating, their presence overwhelming. Shaun still had the lusty look in his eyes that I didn't hate. Scott was licking his lips and Seth simply looked at me with a mighty frown on his face.
I didn’t know what scared me more—what we had done, or the fact that I didn’t even regret it.
Authors POVWithout wasting any time, preparations for a wedding began, and Lucy, who had been through the whole process before, took it upon herself to ensure Marvela had everything she needed. With her experience and knowledge, Lucy became the perfect person to guide Marvela through the whirlwind of wedding planning. As Marvela's only friend she had around, Lucy was determined to make sure every detail was perfect, from the dress to the decorations and everything in between. She realised she loved handling preparations as she remembered when she was tasked with it before; she also remembered the tragedy of that time and swore it would never happen again. With her help, Marvela felt supported and cared for, allowing her to enjoy the excitement of planning her special day with Scott. They both sat in a courtyard, surrounded by intricately woven tapestries and the soft chirping of birds. In Lucy’s hands was a small, leather-bound book containing sketches of various wedding attire, the
Scott’s POVAbout five minutes later, Katrina walked into the room, clipboard in hand, to conduct some final check-ups. She efficiently examined Marvela, checking her vitals and asking a few questions. In no time, she finished her examination and nodded in satisfaction."You're good to go, Marvela," Katrina said, tucking her glasses into the pocket of her lab coat. "Just take it easy for the next few days, and you'll be back to normal in no time." “Thank you so much, Katrina.” I replied, and with that, Katrina gave us a professional smile before turning to leave. After that, we all headed home together with Shaun and Lucy. When we arrived, I walked Marvela to my room, her hands brushing against mine as we walked side by side. The casual touch sent a subtle spark through me, and I found myself glancing over at her, wanting to unravel every part of her body as her familiar scent of jasmine and cinnamon, although now tainted with the smell of antiseptics, filled my nose.As we continued
Scott’s POVI walked alongside Marvela, Darian secure in my sling, as we made our way out of the forest, heading towards my home for dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I was looking forward to a peaceful evening.“So have you finally accepted me, or are you going to walk right past me when you see me tomorrow?” Marvela asked, her expression filled with worry.“If that was my intention, I wouldn’t have invited you for dinner.” I replied, and she went red.As we entered the training field, chaos erupted. One of the soldiers who was playing with a bow and arrow, even though they were all supposed to be long gone, got distracted and careless; he released an arrow without checking his surroundings. And that arrow……was heading towards me.Time seemed to slow down as I watched in horror, unable to move or react. The arrow hurtled towards me, its trajectory deadly and precise. All I heard were Marvela’s screams, and then she moved. With lightning-fast reflexes, she stepped in front of m
Lucy’s POVI slowly opened my eyes, wincing from the bright light streaming through the curtains. As my vision adjusted, I realised I was draped across Shaun's chest, his arms wrapped tightly around me. He was still fast asleep, a peaceful expression on his face.I didn't want to wake him, so I carefully tried to extricate myself from his grasp. I managed to slide out of bed without disturbing him, but as I took my first few steps away, I froze, hearing his sleepy voice behind me."Why are you being so sneaky?" Shaun's voice was husky from sleep, and I couldn't help but smile. Guess I didn't succeed in being stealthy after all. I turned to face him, and our eyes met. He was watching me with a mixture of amusement and curiosity, his eyes crinkling at the corners.“Trying to run away already?” He smiled. And I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as his words washed over me and I rolled my eyes. "I was trying not to wake you or Rosa," I explained, my voice barely above a whisper. I didn't wan
Scott’s povThe door swung open, and the maid walked in, Darian in her arms. His bright eyes sparkled as he gazed up at me, his face freshly bathed and dressed in new clothes. The sweet scent of baby powder filled the air, and I couldn't help but smile."All ready to go, beta Scott," the maid said with a warm smile, her eyes darting between Marvela and me. For a moment, she seemed taken aback by the presence of a strange woman in my room, but she quickly composed herself. As she handed Darian to me, Marvela intercepted, gently taking him from the maid's arms. "Let me," she said, her voice soft and soothing as she cradled Darian in her arms.Darian giggled and cooed, seemingly comfortable in Marvela's arms. The sight was unexpected, yet somehow natural. Marvela's eyes met mine, and my heart skipped a beat. After the maid left, we headed to the training grounds, the sun beating down on us as we walked. I apologized to the soldiers for my sudden absence when we got there, explaining tha
Scott’s POVI sat on the edge of my bed, rubbing my tired eyes. The memories of that day still lingered in my mind, but it was the dreams that had kept me awake. Dreams of her, the mysterious woman with brown eyes.As the man in charge of the soldiers, I knew my duties were clear: protect the pack, uphold the laws, and train to defend our territory. But the truth was, I didn't want to go to the training grounds today. I didn't want to face her. I recalled our brief yet heartwarming conversation in the forest, the way she made the world stop when I looked in her eyes.I just couldn’t face her, and the reason was simple: she had changed everything. The way I felt about my duties, even the way I saw myself. I couldn’t give her false hope; there was no way I could accommodate a mate after all I had been through. For the first time in my life, I felt like running away from my responsibilities because of a woman. It was a cowardly thing to do, and I knew it.As I sat there, trying to gather
