Alexis's POV

I text Mason that I'm outside and like clockwork he joins me.

I felt it the moment he walked outside his apartment building. Warmth flooded my body, the hairs on the back of my neck tingled, and sure enough, I turned to see him standing with the door man his eyes looking across the street to where I was standing. His hot gaze zeroing in on me as my pulse sped up, I smiled and gave a little wave, then gestured for him to cross over.

He didn't smile back, just swept those beautiful beautiful eyes over my body, a slow and deliberate up-and-down that heated my cheeks. My clothes was by no means indecent blue jeans and a tank top and ofcourse a coat over it. But the way he looked at me, I might as well have been naked with a big bow tied around me.

I swallowed, scowling when I glimpsed the amused gleam in his eyes. He knew how easily he got to me. Knew what he did to me with one sultry look.

As he wandered over and crossed over the street to me, my gaze stayed glued on him.
