Took my breath away

They both stepped forward, standing in front of the cowering child.

The young boy glared fiercely at the two men in front of him, silently daring them to attack him, and daring them to disobey the orders of the man in black and kill him.

"What do you want?" The boy spat defiantly.

"You already had your fun with my mother." He continued, his voice dripping with hatred.

The man in black chuckled darkly. "You still aren't smart enough to realize that we didn't come here to play." He drawled mockingly.

"We came here to talk."

The boy scoffed humorlessly. "Talk. Really." He remarked sarcastically.

The man in black narrowed his eyes at him warningly.

The boy's eyes flickered briefly to the weapon in his hand, before he glared furiously at the man.

"Don't you dare touch me!" He warned darkly.

The man shrugged indifferently. "That's your choice." He said in response calmly.

The two men approached the terrified boy slowly, crouching down in front of him as they stood.
