Aidan Allesia Moretti, the youngest daughter of the head of Moretti family was my key to revenge. Her parents had taken everything from me and now I was going to take everything right back. Starting with their youngest child, their golden girl. Only by the time I am finished with her she won’t be so golden. I plan on owning her, using her and leaving her broken. Let them pick up the pieces, just like they had forced me to but things are moving in the underworld and new threats are looming. Threats that not even the combined power of the Mafia and Bratva can survive. When it comes down to it, what side will I choose? To take down the Moretti family, how far am I willing to go? (This is a next generation story, but you don’t need to read the original 3 book series to enjoy!)
Узнайте большеIs that her?” I asked.
The man at my shoulder was leaning forward. His rank breath blowing across my face. I took a step away from him. I hated working with him and everyone knew it. He was an animal. And he always smelt worse than one. The breath from his lips was rancid., thanks to his rotten and crumbling teeth. His body odour wasn’t much better. And my nose wrinkled up.
“Yeah” He shuffled closer still, giving me no choice but to hold my breath. “That’s her.”
I watched as the girl moved across the college green. Her bag clutched to her chest and even from the distance that separated us I could tell she was pretty. Her blonde hair was whipping about her face as she hurried to get herself out of the rain that was coming down hard.
“She’s a tasty little morsel, isn’t she?”
I felt sick at his words. “She’s a kid.” I snapped before I could help myself.
“She just turned nineteen, not exactly a kid. And that body.” He blew out a whistle and I almost gaged from the fumes. “That body is made for fucking…”
I whirled on him. My eyes flashing. “Don’t even think it.” With a growl I turned back to watching the girl. She was beautiful he was right about that. All long blonde hair and wide eyes that peeked out from beneath the curtain of her golden hair and her curves were mouth wateringly womanly, but she looked so normal.
She didn’t look like the daughter of a mob boss.
Looking at her you would never know that she had been born Mafia Royalty. A pampered little princess who lived a life of luxury at the pain and expense of others.
She looked Like any other college student. Beautiful in her own way but not particularly memorable. Except I would remember her.
It was my job to find out everything about her.
And I always did my job well. I knew everything about her that was documented. Her parents, where she had been born and grown up. What schools she had attended. Even the names of the few boyfriends she had been allowed. But that didn’t mean I knew her.
I needed to get close to her. so I could find out what made her tick.
“You can’t say anything, the way you are looking at her. you’re pretty much cuming in your pants.”
I didn’t look away from the girl. She was oblivious to my presence. Lost in her own thoughts,
It would be easy to pluck her off the streets and make her disappear. There was no one around to help her. No one who would sound the alarm until it was too late and it was tempting.
But to easy.
And in the long run it wouldn’t help me do what I needed to do.
The beautiful girl in front of me didn’t know it yet but she was about to help me bring down not one but three of the most feared crime bosses in America.
She was the key to it all.
The key to their absolute ruin.
Aiden “Where are we?” Alessia's voice was sleepy and more childlike than I had ever heard it. “Did I fall asleep?” Sleepily she pushed her matted hair out of her eyes and lifted them to me. I didn’t say anything for ten whole seconds as I secured the seat belt over her lap. “You’re fine Alessia,” I said with a sigh. “I’m going to look after you,ok? You’re perfectly safe.”“Ok.” One simple word but it drove home how young she really was. And not just young either but naive. I didn’t know how that was possible, but she was.How could someone like her, who had grown up in the family she had still be so full of hope and innocence? It honestly didn’t make any sense.“Good.” Taking the seat next to her , I fiddled with my own belt before turning back to her. She had her eyes shut again and it gave me a chance to look at her, to actually see her.Was she beautiful? Yes, in a totally fresh faced kind of way but there was more to her than her pretty face and that’s what was throwing me. The
AlessiaI was safer. Safe safe safe .The words keep spiralling around my brain like a mantra. And maybe if I kept repeating it, I might start believing it. Only I knew that wasn’t going to be the case. I probably wouldn’t feel safe ever again. And I wanted my daddy.A son ripped its way out of my throat as Aiden shifted my weight and continued to stalk the empty back employee corridors of the hotel. No lifts, he took the back stairs and headed towards the street. “I want-“ Now the adrenaline was leaving me. I was so cold. “My daddy.” I managed to scrape out. I didn’t know why I was suddenly falling apart but I was. I wanted to go home. To sleep in my childhood bedroom with its frilly pink blankets and have my daddy smooth my hair back as my mum sang me sweet lullabies again like she had when I was a kid.I wanted all of this to go away and be a bad dream.God I wanted to wake up.“Sir?” A man stepped out of a sleek black car and into the rainy London night. “What- shit?” Clearly he
Aiden “Fuck.” I tugged at my hair wish one hand as I stepped off the elevator and on to our floor. I’d tried to catch up with her but she had been quick so I’d had to take the next one. I was literally a minute or two behind her but Alessia was nowhere to be seen.“Fuck fuck fuck.” Striding down the hallway , I tried to figure out what I should do now. When she had turned up in the foyer all upset and needy I had thought my luck was in and then boom just like that she had gathered her wigs around her.The best thing to do would be to give her space. Alessia was stronger willed than i had given her credit for. I had underestimated her but that wouldn’t happen again. My own door came into view, hers almost directly opposite. Now what was the chances of that? She hadn’t known which hotel I was in. And I had checked in before her and yet we had both ended up not only in the same hotel but literally in rooms facing each other. It would be so easy to knock on her door, maybe pull her into
AlessiaThe whisky was still burning down my throat when I used my keycard to let myself into my hotel room a few minutes later. I hated whisky but that wasn’t the reason I had left him in such a hurry. The last thing I needed was for alcohol to lower my guard around him. Because one more drink and I was probably going to do something stupid like climb him like a tree and beg him to take me.That couldn’t happen. It didn’t matter how alone I felt right now. I couldn’t just give myself to the first guy who came along. Even if they were beautiful and charming… And not single. I told myself.Moving into the room I slid the card into its little holder and moved my hand to find the lights. Only in the dark I couldn’t quite remember where that was. Stumbling forward, I let my hand drift until I found it. Behind me something moved. A whisper of cloth brushing against cloth coming from somewhere near the bathroom.I whirled, my heart pounding and half expecting to find Dana right behind m
Alessia We spent the rest of the day at the police station. They took statements and then double checked them. I didn’t know how much more I could tell them because I hadn’t been there.I had no clue what was going on.“You’re a Moretti.” The detective came back into the room, minus the drink he had promised me and sat down heavily on the other side of the table. He had a stack of papers in his hand which he kept glancing down at. “Yes. That is my name. Alessia Moretti.” I forced myself to smile. He didn’t smile back even though he had been all smiles and good natured charm right up until that point. “You’re family is -“I cut him off as Dana shot me a look from the chair next to me. “I know who my family is.”He looked between us. And realisation settled over his features like a mask. “I see. Is your family involved Alessia. Did something happen between you and the man -““You know who it is?” Dana’s voice shook. “Some low level thug, Irish parents but born here.” The detectives
Alessia“This is just what we needed.” Heaving myself out of the jacuzzi I followed after Dana , who seemed to have much more experience with hotel spas than I did.“It is and you just wait until-“ she swung open the door of what I was guessing was the sauna and froze. “Oh.” She said loudly. “Sorry I didn’t realise anyone else was here.”Confused I looked around her and it was my turn to freeze. Fuck.“No problem.” Aidens sultry voice was full of surprise. His eyes found mine and the surprise turned into delight. They twinkled with it. Beautiful even through the steam.“Plenty of room. Unless you ladies want the place to yourself.”Hell yeah I wanted the place to myself. There was no way I was going to be able to relax with him in there and looking the way he did.“No, of course not.” Dana moved into the room until it was just me standing there keeping the door open.“Plenty of room for all of us.” She continued. “Are you coming in , Alessia or are you just going to stand there?” Sh
