GRACE
I took a second to calm my raging hormones and buzzing nerves before pushing myself off the wall. Bringing the blouse of my floral jumpsuit to my nose, I cringed when the strong, overpowering scent of citrus and oak bombardered me. It was a scent I recognized as Xander's, Alpha Silas' Beta. I took note that Xander had not found his mate yet and having his scent on me probably pissed Silas off.
No one asked him to assign me a bodyguard! An un-mated wolf at that!
