Chapter 8: Not my fault anymore

Sunny's POV

We occupied the table outside the ice cream parlor shop. I waited for Parker since he was the one who took our order at the counter. When he comes back, he was holding two bowls of ice cream.

He sat in front of me and gave me one of the bowls. It was a chocolate chip flavor ice cream. Lots of sprinkles and chocolate chips on the top. It looks delightful.

I was about to taste it when Parker put ice cream on my nose.

"Hey!" I shouted and moved back.

"You looked like Rudolph the red nose reindeer." He commented and laughed out loud. His ice cream is a strawberry flavor that's why my nose got a touch of red.

I dipped my finger on my ice cream and took my revenge. I hurriedly put some on his nose too.

I stuck my tongue out and laughed.

Our laughter took other people's attention. We didn't mind at all. I am just enjoying my time with Parker. He lifted the heaviness inside my chest. I'm glad
