Chapter Twenty two•

Kylie was awed by the room. It was feminine despite all the other part of the house looking manly. Could this have been his mistresses room? She wondered.

As if Helen could hear her thoughts,she said. "Sir had this room cleared out and organized for you ma'am." 

Hmm,change of thoughts then. She said to herself.

"Thank you." Kylie said to her.

"I'll get you fresh towels." Helena said and Kylie nodded as she loosened the strap of her dress.

Kylie let the shower run down her back as she recalled the events of her wedding. The image that kept flashing in her mind was his kiss and she hated herself for it. She sighed as she stepped out of the shower and wrapped the clean towel over her body.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror before donning a simple gown on. She heard a knock on the door and expected Helen since she asked her to get her a cup of ginger tea.
