Luke released an aggrieved sigh as he walked towards a clearing which served as the location of Noah's and Leonel's training. At the moment the two were currently sparring.

Actually to call it sparring was too conservative, it was more like Noah was guiding Leonel but unlike Luke who taught Essence control and the use of the sword, he taught Leonel precise control of one's muscles. Leonel, on the other hand, said nothing and absorbed all the knowledge poured into him showing the kind of heaven defying genius he was.

In fact, not to talk of his parents, even Leonel could guess that something was up with Noah. It's just that he was still a child and barely cared about it. Luke and Aina, though, could guess that Noah was someone who had gained the fortune to reincarnate from death. These kinds of situations were rare but still occurred. But what they thought was that he was still an expert of their world while he was actually from Earth.

What shocked Noah was that although they knew this, they still treated him like family. This further thawed his stone heart, and because of this he had given the three a set of Martial arts from Earth. He had given Luke and Leonel the Golden Lion Art and Aina, the Sky Roc Art. These were one of the best arts one could get on Earth.

Ever since that time, the entire family made a taciturn agreement to not discuss the topic again.

"The House has made a decision." Luke spoke in a guilty tone when he got there.

"Hmm." Noah nodded, yet he still gazed at Leonel's stance giving him advance from time to time.

"You guessed this?" The guilty tone in Luke's voice slowly turned to anger. But he wasn't angry at Noah's indifferent tone, he was angry at his own House's decision.

It turned out that the device used to gauge Noah's talent had been tampered with. It was a way of informing the House of any talent in their family. This had informed them of Noah's exceptional talent, his Gravity attribute Essence!

That's right. Gravity attribute! The reason why Luke and his wife judged Noah to be the most obscene and broken talent was that he not only had a Space type, The Silver Dragon Emperor Battlesoul but also a Gravity type, Overlord Sword Emperor Battlesoul. Both were of the Emperor Grade, with one being a beast type and the other, a weapon type! Giving him a bloodline and a weapon suppression aura.

If one were to grade attributes. Elements like fire, water, wind and earth attributes were low grade. Lightning, ice, plant, poison and metal were mid-grade. Star, dark, light and gravity were top grades. The peak grades were Space and Time.

Which meant Noah had peak and top grade attributes within his Essence core. Luckily, the Norton House was only able to find out about his Gravity attribute, otherwise they would have sent someone as high as an Overlord Battlemaster to capture him without any hesitation at all.

Regarding the House's decision, Noah was barely affected. He was prepared for this ever since the House began trying harder to invite him. He merely stared at Leonel performing a slash at the air. "I guess I'll be leaving now."

Luke clenched his fists as he heard this. His expression changed multiple times before he sighed. He extended his arm and passed a ring to Noah. "I wish I could help you more than this."

"I don't expect you to." The boy shook his head. He was already surprised that the family had tried to protect him for this long.

He glanced at the ring with a look of surprise. This ring was actually a World ring!

These rings were Essence equipment that possessed a spatial dimension within that could store equipment, or even food. Its only limitations were its inability to store living things and its storage space.

The ranks of the ring depended on the amount of space within it. Most Battlesoul masters possessed World rings with only about 10 cubic meters, a Rank 1 equipment.

But the ring in Noah's hand actually possessed 30 cubic meters of storage space! This was a Rank 3 equipment!

Sending his inner sight into the ring, Noah was stunned. Within it was a heap of Essence cores, these were objects that contained concentrated Essence and could be set in a formation as a way to increase the training of Battle soul masters. But people with strong bloodlines like Noah and Lionel could directly swallow them, wasting less time and plundering more Essence. Noah estimated that there were at least 10,000 low-grade cores and 1,000 mid-grade ones!

Beside the heap of cores was a heap of coin-shaped objects, there were Essence coins, objects with miniscule amounts of Essence too low to be used for cultivation, thus serving as currency. The heap was even larger, estimated at the number of a hundred thousand!

The next 3 items were even more expensive. A Rank 2 broad sword, a weapon desired by even Intermediate Realm Battle masters and a Rank 2 leather armor.

Looking at the last object, Noah was stunned as he gazed at the texts written on the scroll-like object.

A Battle Art! The last item was actually a battle art for the space attribute, although it wasn't an offensive type. It was a movement type that could be very useful in battle. And Noah already learnt the best non-attribute sword type offensive battle art from Luke, Violent Storm Sword. The remaining were miscellaneous items.

For the first time since he arrived, Noah's eyes flickered, a warmth enveloping his heart while a heartfelt smile appeared across his lips. Luke and Aina had to have spent a fortune to get these for him. Unable to control himself, he walked forward to hug the both of them, stunning them greatly as this was the first time he initiated contact. "Thank you for this. I'll definitely return to repay you two!"

The two smiled as they heard those strong words and nodded, "Hm."

He left them to hug the almost crying Leonel. "Don't worry! And don't cry either! Leo, don't you remember? We're men! I'll definitely survive! In two years, I expect you to be at the Soaring Star Academy entrance exam, stronger than ever, else don't think I won't whoop your ass"

"Hmm". Leonel cleaned his tears to force a smile. "You have to be there!"

Noah nodded. "Of course!" His eyes then sharpened as he used his inner sight to reach into his World ring and grab the battle skill. A low growl emanated from his chest as an even brighter silver glow shot out of his eyes while a beast revealed its illusory self at his back. It was a Dragon! A silver scaled Dragon that was 3 meters tall, the size of its kind's children.

This was Noah's Battle Soul, The Silver Dragon Emperor!

Every 3 Realms, starting from the first, a Battle Soul master gains a soul skill from their Battle Soul. Noah had gotten his too.

Silver Dragon Eyes, Noah's first soul skill allowed him to study the weakness of enemies, their flow of Essence and he could sense weak spots in the space around him and with enough strength, strike it to cause a short Spatial Disruption, a devastating natural disaster to all near it. Its most powerful ability to Noah was that it could be used to study battle arts, increase the basic mastery time by 50% and even directly store them without mastering it! Even better was that, it would allow him to study his opponent's battle art during battle and, if lucky, learn it! An overpowering soul skill! But of course this was only possible when he had advanced quite far into his journey as a Battlesoul master.

At the moment, Noah used it to memorize and store the battle art before him into his brain. He smacked his lips once done, the art was very strong, and it was just not complete. This was normal as space type battle arts were rare and only found in places like the legendary Soaring Star Academy.

Noah tossed the art's scroll back at Luke as he wore the leather armor before running off into the distance, "2 years!"

Leonel clenched his fist and shouted back. "2 years!" He then faced his parents. "Mom, dad, enlist me in the clan's intense training camp"

His parents looked at him with complicated eyes, but in the end, they nodded.

"Yes, you must also grow strong. In two years, we shall reunite in two years! It seems I haven't been training well either." Luke's voice resonated loudly as he released his Battle Soul with vigor. It was also the same as his son's, A Star Lion Emperor, only its brilliance was considerably dimmer compared to Leonel, in fact it could barely be called with the suffix of Emperor. But still, the difference between Battle Souls with the - king suffix and - Emperor Suffix was as vast as the ocean. A bit Star Lion Emperor was still much greater than a peak Star Lion King. This placed him as a brilliant genius of his generation.

And so the family and Noah moved in different directions as they looked forward to the time they would reunite.

  • Path of a Monarch   Memory Lane

As Noah stood in the middle of the large clearing his eyes glazed as past memories flooded him. Beneath him was a bloodied male, his arms were broken in multiple places, it was a surprise this person was even alive.Looking at the defeated look on the individual's face, Noah didn't feel happiness. He only thought of his beautiful sister. She was maybe the only thing that kept him moving in this camp. In truth, the teenager had never delved quite deep into Martial arts before. He had learnt it for self protection only and because his family forced him to. His family... Noah belonged to a family of militants, with unending loyalty to the government. The amount of blood that had been spilled because of that family was really too much, he wanted nothing with that.Of course, to a family of cold blooded Martial artists, such an attitude was unbecoming of their blood. Especially when the attitude came from a genius of the family. They resorted to many means, torture being one of them, surp

  • Path of a Monarch   Luck

Unfortunately Noah wouldn't think of such a minor detail. He didn't know much about the aspect of the Battlesoul world called Soul force. Only experts at the Grandmaster Stage would dare engage in a soul battle and even then, they would protect their Soul forms so that no unnecessary bits of their soul would be lost. Noah and Alyssa had just gotten lucky. The Devilsoul master barely possessed a hundredth of his original strength so the duo could win after putting up a hard fight. Sadly, they had lost a significant amount of Soul force and would have to rest for a period of time as they didn't possess Wills or even Intents to restore their Soul force so they could only wait for their souls to recover naturally. Luckily, the duo possessed Emperor Grade Battlesouls so it wouldn't take much time to gain their battle strength again, although they wouldn't be able to strain themselves much.Noah hesitated for a while but still spoke as he faced Alyssa. "Why did you save me back there?"The

  • Path of a Monarch   Memories

Noah opened his eyes to be greeted by a weird scene. His body seemed to be in the sky as he gazed down at a happy trio. The two standing side by side were an adult couple. The man possessed black hair and hazel colored eyes with average features you could find anywhere on the streets. The woman, on the other hand, was actually quite beautiful, possessing silky black hair and bright blue eyes. Her features were simply heaven-defying, any normal man would immediately drop to their feet seeing this beauty. This kind of woman could only be a noble.Yet Noah could see that this two, the man who was most definitely a commoner and a noble woman, were together as married couples. The reason was because of the three years old girl that was playing about in the field before them, trying her best to catch a small bird sized Phoenix. Looking at her face, it was easy to see that the child had taken her features from her mother. The cuteness emitted from her face could cause any father to fly over

  • Path of a Monarch   Victory?

Evan's expression was grim as he looked at the duo before him. He was very sure he could succeed in killing one of them, but that would inevitably lead to his death. His thoughts raced as he thought of ways to escape his precarious situation.Unfortunately Noah and Alyssa didn't give him so much time.Knowing that her partner was weak, Alyssa took the initiative to rush forward to occupy Evan's time, allowing Noah to rest a bit. On passing him, no one noticed that a few of the lights drifting from Noah's soul form were absorbed by her.Dark Angel Sword: Hell's Judgment.A large beam was launched at Evan but he was quick to raise a shield composed of fire to block the attack. He gritted his teeth and clenched his hand, risking his soul once more to execute his former techniques. "Blazing Meteor!" At his call, multiple meteors appeared above Alyssa's flying figure to strike her down. Seeing this, she immediately chose to fully transform into her Phoenix form, utilizing its amazing dext

  • Path of a Monarch   Battle of attrition

Noah's figure blurred as he dashed forward with Dragon Steps. He had found out that everything he could use even in his past life could be used here within the Soul world as long as his body had form. Because of this, this skill was brought to its former glory.Unlike the times when he used the skill, instead of reinforcing his legs with blood essence, a strange energy wrapped around him and brought him forward with tremendous speed reaching 200 meters per second! This was more than half the speed of sound! On Earth, Martial arts training could be divided into two stages; Internal Force and External Force. The former dealt with the strengthening of one's body and internal organs while the latter could materialize one's life force to attack. These two stages were very hard to set foot in. More than half of Martial arts practitioners failed to get into the Internal Force stage and half of that number couldn't get into the External Force stage. But Noah did.Dragon Fist Cannon!Unlike th

  • Path of a Monarch   Devilsoul Master

Of course before arriving at the Ruins of a famous Battlesoul master, anybody would research about him.Evan Hills was a member of one of the Great Houses, the Hills House. He was actually an average Battlesoul master, someone with a low General Grade Battlesoul, someone who would most likely never touch upon the Exalt Stage.Yet he did. And splendidly so.He had managed to forcefully evolve his Battlesoul into one that barely counted as a Marquis Grade Battlesoul. With this, he was able to advance into the Exalt Stage. And from then, he showcased his new talent, showcasing his strength. The process of this was quite confusing but many guessed that maybe his Family had spent a large amount of resources on him, after all, it was a Great House. But now Noah understood. What evolution? What bullshit resources?! What genius?!Evan Hills was a Devilsoul master!Luke had spent a lot of time explaining this group of people to Noah. Devilsoul masters were people who possessed attributes that
