Chapter 18 -

Danny POV

I pulled into the Calloway Inn parking lot. It looked a little intimidating from the outside with pillars and valet parking. Not the type of place I prefer. But if he’s gonna pay, I’ll do it for him. We walked in together. A second later I heard, “Ah, Dingo it’s so good to have you back again.”

I guess this is his type of place after all.

Davin greeted the man and introduced us. “Todd, this is Danny. Danny this is Todd. He’s an old friend of mine and manager here.”

Todd was a little taller than average, a middle aged man with dark hair and a slightly pudgy face. But he was dressed impeccably, every last hair in place. Ugh, I look horrible and smell like the tide I thought myself. Oh well, I did suggest we change before we came here.
