Danny POV.

My dream

Slowly the forest came into focus before me. Deep greens of pine trees and bushes. I was moving swiftly over the ground. Smoothly, almost like I was flying. Once my eyes could make out more, I realized I was riding on a giant brown wolf. I could hear it huff beneath me as it ran sure footed through the forest.

Behind us was the howling of wolves. Wolves angry and in pain. Why are they chasing us? I thought to myself. I leaned into my wolf and clung around his neck. His fur was warm and soft and comforting. A low growl came from the mighty beast but it didn’t scare me. If anything, it comforted me. He ran on until we came to a moonlit river. The moonlight thinned until the river was no longer bright, only a foot path over the raging water remained. We heard the wolves getting closer. We carefully edged out onto the bridge of moonlight and began walking across.
