PITD 33: Mistakes
Leigh tossed and turned on the bed again. She lifted her head to check the bedside clock and 2:17AM glared at her with red dots like the devil's eyes.
She could not sleep. No matter how hard she tried, something kept bothering her mind, keeping her awake. She looked over to where her best friend snored quietly beside her on the bed. Thea slept like a log in every situation. You could float her on water and she would still sleep. They had been driven back by Willis after the celebration earlier since Carol had had to stay back with Jeremy. A small smile painted her lips now as she remembered how happy her friend had been. Carol had practically being bustling with happiness. She had finally got her 'hottie' and Willis had asked her out to the prom.
Sighing resignedly, Leigh swung her legs over, banishing any thoughts of sleeping for that night. Her mind was full of things she needed to think through, things she had put off long enough that they were coming back to haunt

By the time they eventually made it inside, prom was well under way. The large assembly hall had been redecorated into a fancy dance hall for the prom. There were banners, confetti, posters and decorative pieces everywhere. Bright lights flooded the room from hanging tiny bulbs that splayed different colours and made the hall look like something out of a fairytale.
