PITD 31: After
The loud shrill of the alarm pulled Leigh out of sleep.
"Mom," she mumbled sleepily from beneath the covers, "put off your alarm!"
The shrill went off again, louder than before. "Mom!" She mumbled fiercely, sleep slurring her words.
"I've got it," A very distinct male voice said from somewhere above her head. Was that Willis? Why would she be hearing Willis' voice early in the morning? Was she still dreaming?
Just then, she felt something press above her and the shrill thankfully went off. It was almost like the weight above her head had turned it off. But that was not her mother's alarm tone.
Leigh jolted up and out of sleep, the light from the lamps blinding her momentarily when she pulled away the covers.
Jaw dropped, she stared at the figure studying her with mirth dancing in his eyes. "Willis?!"

Leigh tossed and turned on the bed again. She lifted her head to check the bedside clock and 2:17AM glared at her with red dots like the devil's eyes.She could not sleep. By the time they eventually made it inside, prom was well under way. The large assembly hall had been redecorated into a fancy dance hall for the prom. There were banners, confetti, posters and decorative pieces everywhere. Bright lights flooded the room from hanging tiny bulbs that splayed different colours and made the hall look like something out of a fairytale.
