Yael sighed.
He was done with the entire day and he still had the damn Scarlet Rose Ceremony to go to. If he was honest, he was done with the entire show already at this point.
It was restricting, and he had to deal with people politely even though all he wanted to do was tell them to fuck off.
It was Solace’s way of punishing him for working too much and not taking his dating attempts seriously but he was at the end of his tether.
All he wanted to do was take a certain cute little red orange haired boy and spend the last few weeks of the show holed up in his penthouse partaking in far more pleasurable activities.
Instead, he was stuck here.
At least he would be rewarded with Lynan’s cute blush as he gets called up for a rose. That is one expression he would never tire of. He would also never tire of hearing those delicious moans he pulled from the ginger head the other day in the shower.
What
Lynantrudged up to the small spare bathroom in the corner of the mansion. It was his favorite, away from all the other people and usually unoccupied. He had been directed there and apparently, someone would come up with a towel and someclean clothesfor him to change into. One of the mansion’s staff members had given him a plastic bag to put his soiled suit into and they would take care of cleaning it.Heaving a sigh, he entered the bathroom, shutting the doorbehind himself and letting out another deep breath as he stripped off his suit.Would it even be salvageable? Not like it mattered now. Chances are,he was out of the show and it was just a courtesy to let him clean up before kicking him out.He closed his eyes and looked down as the hot water of the shower eased some of the tension from his body but even that couldn’t get all of it.The door opened and shut with
The tension was high in the mansion.Everyone felt the end of their time there coming closer and desperately tried to get as much alone time with Yaelas possible. It was catty and bitchy and Lynanhated seeing everyone so stressed.Even the BFFs Stelleand Amyhad exchanged some cutting remarksfrom time to time. Lynanspent most of his time trying to lighten the atmosphere or hiding out somewhere away from everyone.Yaelhad joined him on the sunny windowsill a few times but no one was willing to let them sleep away the precious time and they would end up with far too many people crowding theirspace andnap.Lynan's only solitude now was when he escaped to the roof.Yaelwas the most affected of all.The bachelor business tycoon wasn't able to get a minute to himself unless he was on the phonefor some business mattersand even then, someone always hovered arou
Lynansat up in surprise to see Jasperhanging out the window with his camera in hand.Yaelstretched before sitting up as well.“While not as comfortable as the window seat inside, I must admit that there is a tranquilityup here that is quite relaxing,” Jasper said contemplatively.Lynangrinned at the other man.“See? I told you.”“Look, I don't have a death wish like the rest of you so just give me the money shot so I can leave you to it. I don't get paid enough to hang out a damn window.”“Money shot?”Lynan's confusion didn't last long as Yaelreached over and pulled him closer while leaning in to meet him half way.His squawk of surprise was cut short by warm lips pressing against his own and he fisted Yael's shirt, once again reduced to holding on for the ride.Fuck, the man could kiss. He always managed just the right
It was the day before the second Scarlet Rose Ceremonyand Lynanwas making himself a late breakfast. He just felt like eating something warm and filling today. His coffee sat on the bench behind him along with half of his meal that he had cooked so far.Taylorwalked in and Lynanrefused to acknowledge the man.“Katz, pass me my juice.”Lynan’s eyebrow twitched at the whiny tone and lack of manners. “Get it yourself.”“You'll get snippy at me for walking into the kitchenand end up getting something broken again. It's by the door.”“Fine. Whatever.”Lynanturned and pulled out the juice, sliding it over to the bitchy manager and huffed as the man took it wordlessly. Not even a thanks. Rude.He carried on, finishing up his cooking and cleaning up while he polished off the last of his coffee. He was finishing the last of his
Stellelaunched towards Lynanscreaming while Lievjumped forward to intercept her.Amyyelled hysterically in the corner through her tears, demanding answers and Taylorhad actually started to laugh. What concerned Yaelthe most however was Lynan’s lack of response. The young man just stood there, barely standing straight and looking around the room in confusion. It seemed like he couldn’t see what was going on.Lievsuccessfully intercepted the yelling young woman and Yaelstrode forward to take Lynan’s face in his hands.Lynan’s clothes reeked of alcohol but his breath didn’t which was odd and even more alarming was that his pupils were different sizes.Large hazel brown eyes blinked owlishly at him but there was no recognition in them, it was like he had trouble focusing on anything at all.Yaelpulled hisownphone out from his pock
Lynandrifted for some time before a low conversation slowly brought him back to awareness. He listened before he recognizedthe voices and slipped one sleepy eye open.Lievsat above him and he realizedthat was whose lap he was using a pillow. He shifted slightly to look to the other side of the couch and blinked at a worried looking Kosh.“Lynan, how are you feeling?”He looked up to his friend before snuggling back down and closing his eyes again as a slender hand ran through his hair gently.“Like crap,” he mumbled.Lievlaughed. “The others are making you some soup so you can sleep for a while longer. Now, people should know not to disturb you,” Liev said looking pointedly at KoshHe heard Koshgrumble and whine all the way to the doorabout being left out of the loopand silence descended in the room once againbut the hand continued
“Please assemble for the second Scarlet Rose Ceremony.” Kosh’s voice rang out in the lounge room and everyone got to their feet. The girls had helped Lynanget ready again and had been giggling over his nervousness. He wasn't sure why they found it so damn funny but they couldn't contain themselves. Stelleeven went so far as to call him ‘oblivious’ but that didn't help him figure out what he was missingout on. He noticed that they seemed to be another person short this evening, one of the girls was missing and gossip was flying around. “Don't look so worried,” Lievpatted his shoulder. “You of all people should not be worried.” Lynanshot him a confused look, earning himself an amused half smile. “Don't underestimate yourself so much,”one final pat to the shoulder, then the man moved away to take up his spot so Lynannervously took his own as Koshwalked into the room
Lynan’s family were not as bad as Yaelfeared upon seeing the young man’s worried expression that morning but he definitely understood his apprehension.Florence Katz, the matriarch of the Katz family, has insisted on being calledon her name andwas a bright, bubbly and had a little too much fun pulling blushes from her only son. While Lynan’s only sibling, Bethany was just as lively. Unfortunately, Lynan and Bethany’s father was on a business trip and was not able to attend. The Katz’s ladies approved of his choice of lunch, a quiet little picnic in a beautiful lush garden that was closed off just for the occasion. He apologizedthat the food was catered rather than lovingly prepared this time but he had been informed that it couldn't have been more perfect.Lynanhad been rather surprised by the choice until Yaelmentioned that the story of the cooking together and the quiet, mor
