The next day, Vailan woke up first and was greeted by his endearing wife who was soundly asleep on his arm. Now that he remembers, his arm felt numb, silently wincing because of the pain it brought. He exhaled deeply, patting her bare back which caused Lixien to wake up. She blinked her eyes and slightly yawned while looking at his sweet gaze on her. She giggled and hugged him,

“Did you sleep well?”

He nodded his head, “I did. Thanks to you.”

She jokingly hit him and said, “You’re such a naughty man.”

Vailan merrily laughed, holding his wife on top of his chest, and showering her forehead with kisses. “Let’s eat some of the fruits given to us, how about that?”

“Why not? Let’s taste them.”

He brushed his hair with his hand, “I still don’t want to get up when you’re next to me. Let’s not eat first.”
