Tuesday Morning

Smith's Resident

"Mich, take care of your sister," Their mum said as she walked them to the car.

"Alright mum, I will," he muttered and nodded

"But mum, I'm no longer a kid" Elle whined as she entered the car.

"I don't care if you are an adult, you are still my baby Elle, their mum snapped playfully.

"Whatever," Elle rolled her eyes.

"Can you get inside the car," he told Elle

"And why are you eager to go to school," Elle asked

"You don't like going to school, why is the opposite now," she added

"It is none of your business, nosy parker,"

"Bye mum" Michel added and pecked her while he entered the car too.

"Nincompoop," Elle muttered

She waved at them as the car drive out of the compound.

"Naughty girl," their mum said smiling, and walked inside the house.

Mich sat in the car resting his back on the headrest with his eyes closed smiling repeatedly.

Elle kept looking at him wondering what is going on in his mind that could make him smile so deeply like this.
