SERENA

The door suddenly flung open and his mother walked in. My heart dropped, and I was going to move away from him, but he held my waist tightly.

Her eyes widened and she suddenly turned around to face the door. Damn it, I was going to be in trouble now.

He didn't seem fazed by it though. How could he? She was his mother and she couldn't do anything to him. But me? She had threatened my life.
