Chapter 154

Adriel's POV

As I held Sienna's lifeless body, the weight of sorrow pressed down on me like a leaden sky. Although she wasn't a good person, she could have lived a better life.

With trembling hands, I dialed the number of my uncle.

"Adriel, what's happened?" came the urgent voice on the other end.

"Luke and Sienna are gone," I choked out. "I need you to prepare for their arrival and burial."

There was a brief pause on the line, followed by a solemn, "Of course, we'll be ready."

I hung up, realizing that I needed to act swiftly. With one last, lingering look, I whispered, "Rest in peace, Sienna." I said, asking one of the guards to take her away to the hospital, then together with Luke's body, they will take them to the Denver Pack.

As I turned away, my phone rang, its harsh sound cutting through the stillness of the morning. I quickly answered, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Alpha Adriel," a familiar voice crackled through the line, "we found the twins."
