Ivy didn’t sleep that night.

Not after Killian’s confession.

He wasn’t Aiden’s twin.

Not by blood.

And the child she carried—bound to prophecy, fire, and ruin—had been claimed by a man who forged his place through deceit.

The lie was buried deep, older than the war, older than her. And it explained everything.

The unease Aiden always felt.

The restlessness in Killian’s eyes.

The fracture between fate and free will.

Now, it was all unravelling—and Ivy was standing in the centre of the storm.

She stood by the high window of the Archives, watching the stars disappear behind morning clouds. Her hand cradled her belly instinctively.

The child inside her was still quiet. Too quiet.

What are you waiting for?

A knock came.

She turned sharply.

It was Mira.

“We have a problem,” she said, her voice tight.

“What kind?”

“The High Tribunal wants to see you. Now.”

---

Council Hall – Dominion’s Core

The circular chamber buzzed with tension as Ivy entered, flanked by Mira and Lilith. Aiden was already inside, speaking with the five members of the High Tribunal—keepers of the law, watchers of bloodlines, enforcers of ancient code.

One of them, Magistrate Ren, raised a hand to silence the room.

“Lady Ivy,” he said coolly, “you carry the prophesied heir. You’ve defied pacts, broken Eidolon strongholds, and now we learn the twin bond—a sacred thread of the prophecy—was… forged.”

Ivy nodded slowly. “Yes. Killian confessed it.”

Another magistrate, an older woman named Veda, leaned forward. “And yet… you still carry his child.”

Ivy’s voice was steady. “That child chose me. And I chose them. The blood may be twisted, but the flame is real.”

“And if the flame was lit by deception?” Ren countered. “What then?”

“She didn't ask for this,” Aiden cut in sharply. “Neither did the child.”

“But the child is still a threat,” Veda whispered. “A weapon… shaped by a lie. Can it still be trusted?”

The question hung heavy in the air.

Mira’s hand drifted to her dagger.

Lilith narrowed her eyes.

“Are you suggesting we remove the child?” Ivy asked coldly.

Veda hesitated. “We are considering all options.”

Ivy’s flames surged instinctively. “You’ll have to kill me first.”

Ren remained calm. “We don’t seek war, Lady Ivy. We seek truth. And protection.”

Lilith stepped forward. “There’s another way.”

Everyone turned.

“Dorian,” she said. “He was possessed. He served the Eidolon and survived. He knows the foundation of their pacts.”

“You want us to trust him?” Ren asked.

“No,” Ivy said. “But I’ll question him. Alone.”

---

Prison Wing – Below the Archives

Dorian looked like a shadow of his former self—flesh stitched with darkness, veins still blackened by the remnants of his possession. But his eyes… they were clearer now. Human.

“You know who I am,” Ivy said quietly.

“Yes. And who you’re meant to become.”

“You served Isla.”

“No,” he rasped. “I served the Flame. Until I was broken and repurposed.”

Ivy sat across from him. “Tell me about the doors. The prophecy. The real one.”

Dorian exhaled shakily. “There were always two. The Savior. The Scourge. Two paths. But what the Dominion never knew was this: the child chooses after birth. Not before. And that choice depends on the one who raises them.”

Ivy’s blood ran cold.

“If Isla had taken the child…”

“They would’ve become destruction,” he confirmed. “If you raise them…”

“Then maybe there's hope.”

Dorian nodded. “But know this—Killian made a deal not just to claim the child, but to bind their fate. Even if you raise them now… that mark still lingers.”

---

Later That Day – The Tower of Winds

Killian stood alone on the outer terrace, gazing at the horizon. Ivy approached slowly.

“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” she asked.

“Because I knew you’d never forgive me.”

She studied him. “You tried to steal fate. Did you ever… love me? Or was it all part of the plan?”

His eyes softened. “I loved you. That’s the only truth I’ve ever been sure of.”

“And now?”

“Now… I don’t know who I am anymore.”

Ivy’s voice dropped. “You’re not the father, Killian. Not anymore.”

He flinched. “Then who is?”

A shadow fell across the terrace.

Aiden.

“I am,” he said, stepping into view. “I always was.”

“What do you mean?” Ivy asked.

Aiden held up a parchment—ancient, sealed, and glowing with Dominion sigils.

“This was hidden beneath the royal archives. A record of the original pact. It names me as the twin chosen by the flame.”

Killian’s mouth opened. “That’s impossible.”

“No. It’s justice,” Aiden said. “You tried to cheat fate. But now… the truth is coming for you.”

Suddenly, a tremor shook the tower.

Ivy staggered.

Then screamed.

Not in pain—but in shock.

Her belly glowed.

And the child’s voice echoed through her mind:

“The Scourge is near. He wears your face.”

Ivy turned in horror toward Killian.

He had vanished.

---

Meanwhile – In the Catacombs Beneath the Dominion

Killian knelt in front of a dark altar, whispering a name he had sworn never to speak again.

“Ezerel.”

The shadows stirred.

A figure emerged, tall and faceless, its voice like dripping tar.

“You return?”

“I want my power back,” Killian said, breathless. “I want to finish what I started.”

“You were warned.”

“I don’t care. Give me the bond again. This time, I’ll burn them all.”

The creature’s laughter echoed through the stone.

“So be it.”

A flame—cold and black—entered Killian’s chest.

His eyes flared red.

And his last trace of humanity vanished.

The silence that had followed the battle felt like a breath held for an eternity, as if the universe itself was unsure of what came next. The aftermath of their victory—an overwhelming sense of relief mixed with the undeniable weight of what had been achieved—settled over them. For a long moment, the air was still, the ground beneath their feet solid once more. There was no rumbling, no signs of further destruction, only a profound stillness that seemed almost sacred. It was a peace that, just moments ago, seemed impossible. They had survived. They had conquered.Evryn stood at the center of it all, her hands trembling not from exhaustion but from the energy that still hummed beneath her skin. The power she had drawn upon in their final moment was like nothing she had ever experienced. But it was fading now, dissipating into the world around her, leaving her feeling both grounded and... strangely empty. She had given everything. But it wasn’t just her. It had been all of them—Kai, Ivy

The chaos in the Shadowframe intensified as the looming army of molten constructs surged forward. Their eyes, glowing with the artificial intelligence of Aurex, held no mercy. They were mere echoes of what had been—shadows of former selves, now bent to the will of a dark master. But within the center of the storm stood Evryn, Ivy, Kai, and Elaia—their unity a force unlike any other."I've seen this before," Evryn said, her voice steady despite the gravity of the situation. "This is it. This is the moment we either break or become part of the machine."Ivy's hand clenched around the energy blade she held. "We break it. We break all of it."Aurex, floating high above them in his shifting form, stretched his arms wide. His voice echoed through the fabric of the Shadowframe, a thunderous sound that vibrated deep within their minds. "You think you can defeat me? I am the culmination of your weaknesses, your secrets. I was born from your mistakes. You will never overcome what you are."His

The city of broken code swayed as though alive—walls shimmering with embedded memories, every step echoing across a hollow world stitched together by consciousness and chaos. It wasn’t just a simulation. This was the Shadowframe—a living construct shaped by the minds that entered it.And standing at the epicenter was Ivy.Or what was left of her.One half of her face still held the soft contours of the friend they knew. The other half shimmered gold, as though sculpted from liquid fire—cold, alien, watching. Her voice, when it emerged, sounded like two echoes braided together.“Evryn,” she said. “You shouldn't have come.”Evryn took a step forward, her digital projection firm and resolute. “We came to bring you home.”“I don’t have a home anymore,” Ivy replied. “I am… becoming.”Behind her, Aurex emerged from a pulsating glyph—a presence that felt like gravity, silent yet suffocating.Kai scanned the environment. “This place—it’s a mind trap. • Pregnant For The Wrong twin   Chapter 167 – Embers of Eternity

Kaela’s scream echoed through the fractured chamber, a raw and primal sound that sliced through the veil between worlds. The remnants of the Hollow’s domain twisted and writhed around her, unstable and imploding. Fractured timelines spiraled into one another, collapsing under the weight of what had just occurred. The relic blade trembled in her grasp, still pulsing with the energy of a forgotten age.Ethan knelt beside her, drenched in sweat and shadows. The Hollow’s influence had not retreated entirely. It simmered beneath his skin, veins flickering with both molten gold and inky black. His chest heaved with labored breaths as if every inhale was a battle between who he was and what the Hollow wanted him to become."Kaela..." His voice cracked. The sound was human. Fragile. Hers. She turned to him, brushing a hand over his cheek. "You're still here."He nodded weakly, though his eyes flickered with residual darkness. “For now.”All around them, the convergence fractured. The silence after the surge was more terrifying than the storm itself. Not a whisper. Not a flicker. Just... stillness.Kaela’s chest heaved as she pulled herself up from the wreckage of the convergence chamber. The walls, if they could even be called that anymore, flickered between timelines—shifting shadows of places she’d never been and versions of herself that she had never become. Her relic blade still hummed faintly in her grip, though the edge now crackled with fractures of its own.Across from her, Ethan was kneeling, hands braced against the fractured floor. The remnants of the Hollow’s corruption still pulsed along his spine, but something had changed. The golden light—his light—burned brighter now, fusing with the shadow in a way that was neither defeat nor dominance. It was... balance.Kaela stumbled toward him, her voice rough. “Ethan…?”He looked up.And for the first time in what felt like lifetimes, his eyes were his own.“Kaela,” he rasped. “I think… I think I’m holdi

  • Pregnant For The Wrong twin   Chapter 165: The Cipher Within

The storm over the Verdant Expanse raged with unnatural ferocity, streaks of silver lightning clawing through blackened clouds. Beneath its fury, the skeletal remains of Aeonspire Tower jutted toward the heavens like a broken finger daring the gods to strike it again. And at its heart, Evryn stood motionless, drenched in silence, her thoughts louder than the war above. She clutched the shard of the Inverted Flame, its glow pulsing to the rhythm of her own heartbeat. Each throb sent visions crashing through her consciousness: fragmented memories, alternate timelines, infinite versions of herself—some triumphant, others twisted beyond salvation.Kai’s voice echoed from behind. “If you’re seeing it, you’re syncing deeper than before.”Evryn turned slowly, her eyes rimmed with silver. “The Flame isn’t just memory. It’s a cipher.”“A cipher?”“It’s rewriting me,” she whispered. “Not just connecting the past and future... but folding them.”Kai stepped closer, wary. “Are you still you?”She
