Third POV

"Clara! Wait!" Kai called out to Clara as soon as he watched her run out of the room. His heart was extremely heavy especially when he had sighted the tears that rolled down her eyes which she tried to control, and he was moved to chase after her.

He dropped the dead body he held on the ground, and sprang up from the ground, running towards the door.

Before he could exit the room, he was stopped by his brother. Klaus' face beamed with a smile that kept the other in puzzlement, pondering on what could have been so exciting about that certain moment.

"Woah! Woah!! Woah!!! Chill out, man. Where the hell are you rushing off to?" Klaus asked sarcastically, turning his face towards the door.

Wasn't his last gesture an answer to the rhetorical question he had thrown at him? The thought had hit Kai as he stared at his brother, finally realizing that Klaus' actions were intentional and distracting.

"What kind of dumb question is that?" Kai answered with a frown seated on his face.
