15 - Abomination
Abigail never felt as good as she did now, after giving Tony her piece of mind. He was such a jerk and she couldn't take it anymore. She recalled the changes she had done in his bedroom, regret filling her. She also regretted telling the maids not to wash his clothes. She wanted to do all that for him but it seemed that the more she tried to be good, the worse he got. Maybe she should just stop trying. How could she fight a curse? No heir of the Wright family has been able to overcome it.
Worse was when she got home. She wasn't in anyway prepared for the news awaiting her. "I have to leave for Z City tomorrow," Ivy announced, disheartened. Why did she have to leave at the time Abigail needed her the most?
"Must you?" Abigail pleaded. Grief filled her heart, despite guessing it had to do with her father. It would have been nice to go with Ivy.

Ivy confirmed her arrival at Zcity in the evening and assured Abigail that her father was getting better. She even got to speak with him but could barely hear any word he spoke. Yet still, it warmed her heart. The more reason she was bent on doing everything possible to make Ivy happy, including enduring Tony's sometimes unthoughtful words. Tony wasn't able to go back to the office as planned, settling on keeping Dennis in Isaacs' mansion till the culprits were arrested. Desperation was a moving van that made Abigail accept terms of marriage she didn't understand. To her, it was just a marriage on paper but the paper was mightier than thoughts or vocal words. Ivy knew that if she had revealed it, Abigail wouldn't have signed. She wasn't an opportunist. Being oblivious to everything, her thoughts ran vicious when they sat next to Tony. The usual coldness and loathing that tensed up their partnership wavered. Tony drove with a light heart, trying to be slightly intimate, sometimes running his hand on Abigail's thigh while his other hand held the steering wheel. Each time, she shoved his hand away but Tony would put it right back till she stopped shoving it away. He was sending hints about tonight and she wasn't dumb to not know.
