Brian was relieved. With his good looks and talent, he couldn’t lose everything just because he decided not to do the chasing. Brian was filled with gratitude, his heart rate steady. He had almost forgotten that he was needed at the podium to speak on behalf of the Wrights Group as he did not want to shift his gaze to the blue sea pair of eyes glaring at him. Kisha was stunning. Kisha stilled for a second before processing the information. She felt like she was in a daze when she left the meeting without a word to her managers and drove to the hospital. Even when her secretary thought of driving her there, she had already left. Reaching the hospital, she was ushered to the doctor’s office as soon as she mentioned her name. “Why has it taken you so long to come?” The doctor asked. Kisha was slightly guilty, looking down, and said defensively, “I came as soon as I heard the news.” The doctor did not accept the excuse. Arriving at the villa, Kisha dragged Brian to his bedroom. When the door pushed open, her jaw dropped, and she froze. “Hey, you cheated. This is bigger and more luxurious than my room,” she nagged.
