Ch. 28: Old Wounds

"I do have a goal, but it's personal. So, I don't want to talk about it," said Sasha, folding her arms across her chest, looking away from them.

A painful memory gripped Sasha's heart that she didn't like reliving. Sensing the brunette's reluctance, neither Byeol nor Luna wanted to push the subject and remained silent.

Luckily the awkward silence at the table broke by the sound of footsteps and wide-spread gossip that caught the girls' attention.
