Chapter 12: Confrontation

The tension between our pack and the human group had been steadily increasing. It seemed as though every day, we heard news of another attack or threat. Alex and I knew that we had to act fast before things escalated even further.

We decided to confront the human group head-on, hoping that we could reason with them and come to a peaceful resolution. But as soon as we arrived at their headquarters, we could tell that they had no intention of listening to us.

The humans were armed and ready for a fight. It was clear that they had been preparing for this moment for a long time. We tried to reason with them, to explain that we were not the monsters they believed us to be, but they wouldn't listen.
