My throat was sore and my voice hoarse from screaming. Everything around me was forgotten except for the lightning bolts of pleasure that were shooting through me.
Sweat coated my skin and slowly trailed down my body. My legs started to quiver as another orgasm neared. I’d lost track of how many times I’d come.
Wasn’t he supposed to give me his blood? Wasn’t he supposed to cure me instead of torturing me?
“Tell me,” Obsidian growled close to my ear.
At first, I thought that I was the only one suffering, but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
It was the little things that gave the most away.
Like the way his voice grew huskier by the second. The way his big body trembled against mine whenever he moved his body too close. The way he was panting as badly as I did, and the way he sometimes gave into the impulse to purr.
My body tensed. My mind blanked. And then it hit me, much more intense than anything I’d ever fucking felt. But this time Obsidian didn’t move the vibrator away like he had all those other times I’d exploded. He kept it right in place.
“P-please,” I breathed as tears spilled onto my cheeks. “I c-can’t.”
“Answer my question,” he rasped. “Just answer the fucking question, Vanya, and it’ll all end.”
But telling him anything would be a betrayal to my father. Betraying my family was the last thing I wanted to do, even if he had practically sold me to them.
“I’m sorry.”
A sob fell from my lips and the fight just drained right out of me. I slumped in the chair and continued to sob.
In an instant, it all stopped.
Hands and lips soothed the pain when the nipple clamps were removed, and then the ties around my wrist and elbows were gone.
In less than a minute, I was untied from the chair and pulled against his damp chest.
***
Lukewarm water was beating down on my legs.
I slowly became aware of more things, like the fact that I was sitting sideways on his lap and leaning against his chest. He was actually cradling me to his chest, and it only made me want to cry harder.
My eyes dropped to the hand resting on the top of my thigh.
It was something I never noticed before, the scars covering the back of it.
Without thinking, I reached out and traced one.
Obsidian’s body jerked as if I scared him. He swallowed loudly before he spoke. “I’m sorry,” he rasped. “Forgive me.”
I said nothing. There really was nothing to say. He tortured me by making me orgasm over and over again. It was okay the first three times, but after that it became unbearable.
Obsidian sighed and straightened a bit. He pulled his hand from underneath mine and slipped me in between his spread thighs.
From the corner of my eyes, I watched as he picked up the shower head.
“Tilt your head back,” he ordered softly.
I hesitated and then did as he ordered. Obsidian wet my hair and did the most unexpected thing—he started massaging shampoo into my hair.
My body slowly relaxed as his fingertips brushed my scalp. When the shampoo was worked in, he rinsed my hair and repeated the process with the conditioner. However, he didn’t immediately rinse it from my hair. Instead, he pulled me against his chest and started washing the front of my body. I flinched when his hand slipped between my legs and brushed against my oversensitive flesh.
“Vanya.” He hugged me with his arms wrapped across my chest. “We don’t have family like you humans do. I mean, blood-related family. Devrim and Ezra, they mean a lot to me. If anyone—especially a human—wants to harm them, I will do anything and everything to protect them.”
I swallowed. “E-even if it means killing m-me?”
“Yes.” There was no hesitation in his answer.
The tears returned which confused me. I had no idea exactly why his words hurt me so much. He had made it clear what he thought of my kind, so his words weren’t supposed to surprise me at all.
He pulled away and rinsed my hair and body with the shower head.
I gasped when he gripped my hips and turned me sideways. One of his hands slipped into the wet strands at the nape of my neck and pulled until my head was tilted backwards and I was looking right at him.
“You’re their one chance at happiness, Vanya. Please, don’t make me ruin it,” he whispered.
Swallowing the lump in my throat, I hesitated only for a second before I reached up and cupped his cheek.
“I would never ever do anything to hurt you, Devrim, Ezra, or your pride.” I blinked away the tears and pleaded with him to believe me with my eyes.
His eyes darted over my face and then locked with mine again. Obsidian stared at me for what felt like forever before he lowered his head. The hand that was gripping my hair slid to the front of my neck. He gently squeezed and then let go, but kept his hand there.
“If you do anything to put us in danger, I won’t hesitate to kill you. Do you understand, Vanya?”
I nodded. Fear settled in the pit of my stomach as he continued to stare at me. Obsidian meant every word he said. He would kill me without a second thought.
His hand slid down my throat and came to a stop against my breastbone.
“How do you feel?”
“Fine,” I lied.
“Good. Straddle me.”
I blinked at him and then hesitantly followed his order. Awkwardness filled me. I was straddling him, but I had no idea where to put my hands. Why doesn’t he like touching?
“I need you to drink as much blood as you can,” he muttered. “We heal quickly, so as soon as I cut, you need to start drinking.”
I nodded. I was about to drink blood like a damn vampire. There was something seriously wrong with this. It couldn’t be healthy at all, right?
“Ready?”
I held my breath and nodded. My eyes dropped to his hands as he raised it.
Obsidian hesitated and then tilted his head to the side and pressed a sharp claw to a spot near the crook of his neck. He didn’t even acknowledge the pain as he sliced open his own skin.
I stared in dismay as blood pooled around the wound and slowly dripped down his chest.
“Vanya,” he growled.
I leaned forward and pressed my lips to his skin over the cut. Even though it went against every instinct I had, I started sucking on the wound to draw more of his blood into my mouth.
His groan had my stomach clenching and heat shooting through me.
I forgot all about his no-touching rule when he gripped my hips and pulled me closer until his arousal dug into my stomach. Obsidian suddenly wrapped his arms around my waist and stumbled to his feet.
Lifting my head, I stared down at the healed wound. Some blood still surrounded it, so I leaned forward and licked it from his skin.
He took one step forward and pressed my back against the wall, making my eyes snap up to his.
Obsidian lifted me a little and a few seconds later, he was slowly entering me. His growl was a bit scary, but surprisingly, it only turned me on more.
Obsidian’s hands slid down to grip my ass as he started moving. Two slow thrusts and then he was pounding into me like he had done when he fucked me against the tree.
Fast and hard.
My nails dug into his shoulders as he tilted his hips and hit just the right spot that replaced the discomfort with pleasure.
“Bite.”
I opened my eyes and blinked at him.
Swallowing, he reached up and slid a claw across his skin again. “Suck.”
I didn’t hesitate this time, because I wanted to please him. Gripping the side of his neck, I sucked on the cut as hard as I could. His dick jerking inside me, and the shudder that raced through his body made me suck harder on his skin.
With Obsidian moving inside me, hitting my g-spot over and over again, and his blood flowing into my mouth, I gave way to the pleasure and allowed it to throw me over off the cliff.
He is defenceless. I could easily hurt him. To be honest, I had considered it, but then Devrim’s words flashed through my mind and pulled me out of my disturbing thoughts.Devrim had been right. But it didn’t make me fear Obsidian less.I sat in the chair a few feet from the bed, staring at the door as I waited for Devrim to return. Every passing second that he was away made my mind race with things that could go wrong.Darkness was creeping in on me, and I had no idea how to handle it.A whimper from the bed made my eyes snap over to it.Obsidian was on his stomach, clutching the pillow beneath his head as his big body trembled. The whimpers changed into growls that made my skin break out in goosebumps. The room suddenly fell silent again, but it didn’t last long.Rolling onto his back, Obsidian clutched at the sheets as his whimpers started up again. It got louder and louder.Tears filled my eyes.It sounded like he was in pain. What am I supposed to do? My eyes darted over to the
I think I’m going to pass out. After everything that had happened, I never thought that I would be returning to the cabin. My steps faltered when we reached the front door. Oblivious to my hesitation, Devrim opened the door and entered. As he turned to close it, his eyes locked on me. “Vanya?”When he told me that Obsidian was sick, the concern I felt had me agreeing to go with him, but standing outside the house made me second guess myself.I was about to face the man who had attacked me, the man who haunted my dreams, and not in a good way.Swallowing, I took a step forward, but my muscles tensed, preventing me from moving.“What’s wrong?” Devrim asked as he walked over to me. “You’ve gone pale.”“I…” My words trailed off when movement behind him caught my attention. My knees weakened when a wave of fear hit me. I wasn’t ready to see him yet!Panic hit next.If Devrim hadn’t grabbed hold of my arms, I would have run away.“Rosebud—”“I don’t want to see him,” I blurted.“Please, Va
What are monsters? The imaginary creatures we were sure hid under our beds? Were they the creatures that the authors and filmmakers created? Maybe the stories told to scare us were monsters in their own way? Or maybe the adults who told us those stories were the real monsters?A monster was cruel and evil.A monster was someone who found joy in hurting others. Like those men who hid in the shadows, waiting for a woman or man to come along. A monster was someone who killed without a second thought.I sniffed and reached up to wipe the tears from my cheeks. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t pull my eyes away from the group of kids in the alley below me. I had spotted them the moment they entered. One of them had pulled out a knife and was busy dissecting a dead animal. Are they monsters? The moment the kid had pulled out the knife, I had thought of Obsidian, and then my mind had trailed to Devrim and Ezra.I hadn’t seen them in weeks. As soon as the doctor had given me a clean bil
“Get the fuck out!” Ezra sneered.I ignored him and made my way over to the bed, but he stepped in front of me and flashed his teeth. I growled at him, but he didn’t even flinch. My eyes narrowed and my fists clenched at my sides.“You’re not allowed in here,” he hissed.“I’m here to talk to Vanya,” I told him.He growled. “She doesn’t want to talk to you.”My eyes shot over his shoulder to her. Her head was bent, her hands clutching at the sheet. I sucked in a deep breath and closed my eyes. The sweet smell of her fear filled the room. She’s scared of me. “Vanya?”Her body jerked as if I’d struck her. Slowly, she raised her head, but she couldn’t look me in the eyes. Her eyes briefly glanced in my direction, then instantly lowered again. What little colour she had in her cheeks when I arrived was now gone.“Get out,” Ezra growled. “She doesn’t want to talk to you.”My eyes snap back to his. “I’m talking to her and not to you.”“She doesn’t want to fucking talk to you! What made you
There was no annoying beeping filling my ears. No machines attached to every possible inch of my body. Everything was silent which made me feel like I was alone, but I knew I wasn’t, because I could feel the comforting weight of another hand on mine.I wasn’t dead.I wasn’t alone. But I was in pain. The constant throbbing of my shoulder and the feeling of fire ants crawling all over my body was pulling me from my sleep.I didn’t want to wake up, because in my dreams, everything was okay. In my dreams, Obsidian was smiling at me, and Ezra had accepted the fact that Obsidian and Devrim loved each other. In my dreams, everything was perfect. But dreams only lasted so long before reality started creeping in and everything crumbled and the real world showed its ugly face.A soft sigh reached my ears, followed by the sound of a chair creaking. The weight on my hand disappeared, making emptiness fill me.I had fucked up and now I was all alone.“I know you’re awake, sugarplum.”I hesitated
It was all part of his plan.If Vanya died, I would be blamed for it. They’d kill me and every other pride member on the island. The humans would be turned against us by Reeves, because he was powerful enough to accomplish that.I knew he had been watching us. I knew he had seen me attacking Vanya.Small cameras had been set up in the corners. The entrance and exit had also been revealed numerous times when he entered and left. The gas he had used to knock me out in order to move me was something they had used in the facility. What was really worrying was the fact that he somehow got hold of the gas in the first place and that he knew so much about me.My eyes darted to one of the small vents I had seen hidden slightly from the human eye. It was how he was planning on knocking me out again.I was just waiting for the right time to strike. I paced back and forth next to Vanya’s unconscious body. Stopping, I licked at the deep wounds on her upper arms. A shudder raced through my body an
