Chapter 24
Four days had passed and the lad still didn't come home. And Jessica was clueless as to where could her husband be. She wonders if he's okay, if he's eating right, and if he misses her as much as she misses him.
The brunette would always wait for Philip on the couch and sometimes she would fall asleep there. It was uncomfortable and when she wakes up, her back always felt sore. Even if she lacks sleep, she would still wait for Philip, thinking that maybe he'll be back anytime that day. But she'll just be disappointed the next day when Sarah would tell her that the lad still hasn't come home.

The doorbell rang repeatedly and Jessica quickly went to the front door to open it. The married couple drove silently to the road, on their way to an exclusive house to attend a party. Jessica had been telling the lad about it a couple of times this week now and tonight was the night she was talking about. Philip didn't want to go obviously, but because of the brunette's puppy eyes and kisses, she finally convinced him to come.Jessica looked at her husband, who was focused on the road to even notice her staring at him. She didn't know why he was quiet but he didn't seem to be pissed or upset like usual. They haven't been fighting lately as well so her silence really worried the lad.

Jessica woke up with a terrible headache the next day. Her vision was still blurry and she feels like she's about to throw up anytime. Which she did, a few seconds after.
