Orchid's POV

"No! Please! I beg you, spare me!"

The flickering flames and distant screams infiltrated my mind relentlessly, causing unbearable distress. Huddled in the corner of the closet, I desperately covered my ears.

"You are monsters! Demons!"

I tried to block out the sounds, but my efforts were in vain. Even with my ears covered, I could still perceive the palpable fear in the air.

"Run! I'll hold them back!"

"Don't even think about escaping! Our Pack has completely surrounded yours! None of you can get away!"

"To hell with all of you!"

"Curse the Grey Pack! I'll kill every last one of you!"

Countless voices merged into a cacophony, overwhelming my senses. The pressure in my head intensified, and my body quivered uncontrollably.
