"Hey, look over there!" Someone shouted, pointing directly at Adrian's car. Everyone in the university parking area immediately turned their heads and looked in the direction someone had pointed at. Some of them looked confused and curious, and some of them started talking in whispers to one another.

In the car, Alexis clutched her bag tightly. She had never liked the attention of so many people as it was right now there. She felt very uncomfortable and so nervous right now. As for Adrian, he got out of the car first, then turned around to open the door for Alexis. Alexis lifted her head and looked at Adrian with a doubtful look. But Adrian returned the gaze with a smile and nodded his head slowly. Trying to be able to convince Alexis right now there too. Then Alexis sighed, and started to get out of the car. And immediately, when Alexis got out of Adrian's car, everyone who looked at them became excited.

"Isn't that the scholarship student?" Someone is talking to her friends.

"That's right. And look, she came with that handsome freshman!” Someone else replied in a tone of voice that sounded surprised.

"Isn't that great? That means they know that now you are mine. And I am yours." Said Adrian with a big smile on his face. Alexis shook her head in amusement. But she couldn't stop herself from smiling when she saw Adrian's smile there.

“So I saw you came with that handsome freshman. Is there a story you don't want to tell, Alexis?" Liliana came closer with a wide seductive smile towards Alexis.

In the end she started to smile slowly and looked at Adrian there now. “I think when Adrian decided to move and enter this campus… we could spend more time together then we had before.” Said Alexis adding to the answer given by Adrian there.

“Oh my gosh, you guys are so cute. I really wish that I could have a relationship like yours.” Liliana muttered with her cute facial expression there.

Without realizing it, Adrian widened the smile on his face. He looked at Alexis with his glazed eyes. It couldn't be lied that he was starting to feel happy with Alexis around him. And Adrian didn't want to miss that moment at all. He wanted to always feel the way he was currently feeling for Alexis. Adrian tightened his grip on Alexis' palm. Making Alexis look at him with a small smile on her face. Everything seems just fine right now.

Alexis and Adrian walked together towards the dormitory building where Alexis lived on campus. Still holding hands there. “Are you sure you want to enter my dorm room one more time right now?” Alexis asked in a mumbling tone of voice. Afraid that someone else would listen there to Adrian.

“I've been into your dorm room once, so why not now? And yes, I also like that room…” Adrian answered with a short smile.

"In that case, okay then." Alexis turned her gaze back to the front.

They also walked with their feet which felt very relaxed there. Passing the corridors and faculty buildings that are there. Then started taking the elevator in the dormitory building to the fourth floor, where Alexis' dorm room was. Until not long after, the two of them arrived right in front of Alexis' room. Immediately, Alexis took her room key which was in her bag, then slowly opened it. Alexis stepped into the dorm room first. "Come on in." She told Adrian to get into her room immediately.

After Adrian was in the dorm room, Alexis immediately closed the door again there. When Alexis turned around, she saw Adrian who was already lying on the bed and tightly hugging the pillow shaped like a cartoon frog character belonging to Alexis. Alexis shook her head in amusement. "Tell me, you seem to really like my frog pillow in there." said Alexis as she took off the cardigan she was wearing.

Adrian looked at Alexis. “Em hm… it so comfortable to be hugged like this. I don't have many modern items like this in the castle.” Adrian answered as he changed his position to sit and leaned against the head of the bed there.

Alexis took off the shoes she was wearing, and placed them on the small shoe rack near her wardrobe. Then walked over to Adrian and sat on the bed. “How long have you lived in that castle actually?” Alexis asked and looked at Adrian.

Adrian raised his head as if he was replaying it in his mind. “Perhaps since the year one thousand eight hundred and fifteen, I have somewhat forgotten about the exact date and month. But around that year, I was already living in that castle.” Adrian answered slowly, then no longer sat leaning on the bed there.

Alexis fell silent and began to intertwine the fingers of her hands nervously. "How old are you right now?" Alexis asked again. For some reason he didn't even dare to look at Adrian who started to put the frog pillow at the head of the bed.

"Twenty-three years." Adrian answered in a flat tone of voice.

"And how long have you been twenty-three, Adrian?" Alexis lowered her head even more there. She caught her breath, which was starting to feel tight. There were still many things that she wanted to ask though, Alexis wasn't at all sure what Adrian would say for every question she asked.

"It's been a very long time. I was born on Christmas Eve in the year one thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven. And turned into a vampire in the year one thousand eight hundred and ten. That means that I am now two hundred and twenty-eight years old,” Adrian explained.

Hearing this, Alexis immediately lifted her head and turned her head towards Adrian. That's when she realized how close Adrian's face was to her. Alexis was silent for a long time when she realized Adrian's eyes were still blue. It looks very beautiful. "You're pretty attractive for two hundred and twenty-eight years old, Adrian." Alexis muttered in the end.

Adrian chuckled. "Is that true?"

"Yes. You don't look more than two hundred and twenty-eight years old." Alexis replied with a small laugh. She felt trembling when there was a strong tug to touch Adrian's face who was nearby right now. "Have you stayed in the castle since then?" Alexis asked again.

Adrian shook his head slowly. "Not. It took me five or ten years to start changing locations, before coming back in here again. People will notice if I don't get older, therefore, I have to move around the world."

"Just you? Alone? What about your family or your friends maybe? I think in this world would be so much vampires. And that’s not only you.” Alexis is increasingly curious about Adrian's vampire life after centuries.

"Just me, Alexis. I have no friends, or family. I always alone. Even though there are many vampires in this world, I have never had a good relationship with them. And vampires friends? It would be a joke for me. Because when I turned into a vampire for the first time, not many vampires knew and accepted me like they are. They said that if I was different from all of them, they could tell when they saw my eyes which were still the same color as my human eyes. But I never wanted to know what was the difference between me and all of them. That's why I distanced myself from the existing vampires. ” Adrian answered with his voice that sounded cold there.

Alexis, who was about to open her lips to ask about other things, suddenly stopped when she felt Adrian's grip on her hand tightly. "I really don't want to talk exactly about my family, if I may." Adrian muttered. Alexis answered with a nod of her head there slowly.

The longer they stared at each other there, Alexis's breathing became increasingly erratic. Then the next second Alexis kissed Adrian's lips, and made Adrian surprised. Alexis pulled away from her face and the confused look in her eyes. Completely clueless as to what that she had just done there. But Adrian started rubbing the side of Alexis's face and started kissing her lips once again. For a moment Adrian broke the kiss, and put their foreheads there. “Alexis, will you move and live with me in the castle?”
