CHAPTER FORTY NINE: MISTAKE

I bat my eyes, as my vision clears and I awake from my deep sleep. My body is heavy and relaxed. I am uncharacteristically warm, and as I move to stretch out my limbs, I feel why. Behind me, a body is practically engulfing mine. It's Shane. His arm is draped over my waist, his lips inches away from the nape of my neck. I could feel his rhythmic breathing against my skin. "What are you doing?" His words come out sleepily.
