*Alpha Damon’s POV**

I left the house to go to mine.

What happened today got me really worried for some reason, even though I was mad at her, I forgave her easily. Was it because she was my mate?’ I asked myself. That would be the most reasonable answer.

I was about to go out when Asher came in. “Lucas and Kiara have escaped” he said and I felt my blood boil. “How!!” I said with fury. I marched out of the house and ran as fast as I could to the prison cells. I found their cells empty and I was raging mad.

“Where were the guards?” I said and my eyes had turned icy cold. I grabbed a guard by the throat, “Where were you?” I asked, “Alpha, I went to ease myself and left the other guard here” he replied. I let him go.

The other guard must have been an accomplice to help them escape. I’m sure my brother promised him a measly reward.

“Deploy a patrol Asher, we must find them and I’ll join the search” I said and he nodded. “But-“ , “No buts Asher” I said, cutting him off. I was fum
