An alpha and his mate

Freya frowned. "What happened to them?" she asked.

"The plague," I said, sighing. "It's affected everything and everyone in our community, including the maintenance of the gardens and parks. No one has been taking care of them, and now they're just a shadow of what they once were."

Freya looked at me, her expression filled with sadness. "It's such a shame," she said. "I've never seen anything like this before."

"I used to come here when I was a young man," I said. "I would spend hours walking through the rocky mountains, admiring the beauty of this place. But now, it's just a memory, a reminder of what once was."

Freya looked at me, her eyes filled with understanding. "It must be hard for you," she said. "To see all of this change."

I nodded. "It is," I said. "But at least I have memories of what it was like before. Memories of beauty and peace."
