I sat back in my chair and gazed at the doctor, who was standing in front of the council. I could see the anxiety and uncertainty on his face, and I knew that he was about to deliver some critical information.
"Doctor," I said, breaking the silence. "Can you do some tests and analysis on the current situation? We need to know what we're dealing with, and how best to proceed."
The doctor nodded, and a relieved look came over his face. "Yes, of course," he replied. "I can run some tests, but it will take me about 24 hours to complete the analysis."
I turned to the council and raised my hand. "I suggest we take a short break and let the doctor run his tests," I said. "We need to have a clear understanding of what we're facing, and we won't be able to make informed decisions without the results."
