Matthew and Levi ran as fast as they could until they reached the mansion.

Nathaniel welcomed them with a big hug and cried with them. He insisted on cooking something for them before they go to Elijah. They were too sad and tired to eat, but the chef was good at convincing.

They ate in silence and headed upstairs to the leader's room. Levi gently knocked and entered to find his brother lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Elijah," he whispered.

Elijah turned his head and widened his eyes when he saw them. "You're here! You're safe." he sighed from relief.

"Thank you for sending Samuel and Leo." Levi smiled.

"Leo?" Elijah raised an eyebrow. "He went there?"

Both nodded.

"I swear, this guy..." Elijah shook his head. He stared at Matthew and his brother to see if they didn't get hurt. "You look well."

"We are," Levi said. "Don't worry about us."

"Elijah, please tell me that Alexander is alright." Matthew appro
