Grandma stopped weaving the shawl and went to her bedroom. She opened the drawer and pulled out the hunter's book.

“She will smell differently, the moment she meets him. The smell won't be the one you can identify,” Grandma read.

Her heart squeezed in pain as she reread the statement. She feared Aubrey knowing the truth that concerns her, the family and the ring that she had forced her to put it on every day.

‘Was she really smelling differently?’ she wondered.

Immediately, she stood up and walked to Aubrey's bedroom.

She knocked on the door gently, but Aubrey didn't respond. She pushed it open gently.

Grandma Diana looked around the room, but Aubrey was not in. When she was about to call her name. She heard the shower running.

“Aubrey? Have you taken off your clothes?” She asked gently.

Aubrey heard her, but she didn't hear the full statement. “Grandma, it's late, I thought you have gone to bed?” Aubrey asked.

“No, my child, have you started showering?” Grandma asked.
