CHAPTER 22

"I hope you two have sorted everything between you two the past week." The king said as he sat in his large leather seat while I stood behind it with my hands on my front, still not being able to get over the beauty of the office.

The office took half the floor with it being so large our house would fit inside. I looked around, seeing the lounge that had a TV, couch and coffee table with  a library just behind us with rows and rows of books and files sorted out so perfectly the office being so clean you could eat on the floor.

My eyes trailed over to the two women who sat, legs crossed, heads held high with such professionalism it made me itch. I admired them, feeling like a teenager right now out of depth, but hoping one day I would reach such maturity because we don't choose how fast we mature no matter how we can tell ourselves that we are mature and grown up. The actions speak for themselves, the things you do without thinking,
