Chapter Sixteen

Day fifteen

It was her fifteenth day in the past.

How she’d known? She wasn’t exactly good at keeping up with dates and time. There was a number eleven inscribed on her palm, it wasn’t an obvious place—only an observant person would notice. The number changed daily, reminding Raven of the limited time she had.

“Roberto Sánchez is the hottest man alive!” Tessa exclaimed in a Spanish accent. Snapping out of her thoughts, Raven crossed her long legs. The girls were currently watching a movie in perfect rapture, Roselyn was also with them, but she was unusually quiet.

“But he’s aging—compared to when he acted as Jack in Forever 20,” Louis remarked.

“Back then...I thought he was gonna be 20 forever,” Tessa said and they all laugh in unison, resting her head on her palm, she went on. “I wish wonderland actually exists.”

Fascinated, Raven chortled. She recalled the first time she met Roberto—of course she had met him, it was on the red carpet, he even tried to get it on with her a few times.
